Day 20 Peace | Taking Memories Further Away
When the waves of my bipolar disorder calmed down and I sensed the end of the storm, I thought my happiness was 'peace'.
A state without impatience or anxiety.
Now that I have achieved that, I am starting to think that 'being excited all the time might be just right'.
I am blessed with friends who say they understand.
Even so, there are days when I get tired, so in the morning I burn incense, pray at the family altar, and type on my keyboard while drinking hot coffee brewed to match my mood.
At night, I write in my diary, fill out my planner, listen to music, and burn incense again.
The incense is sandalwood. Simply put, it is the scent of a Buddhist altar.
During summer vacation, I loved my grandparents' house where this scent drifted.
Even if I have things I want to do like a young child, running around and feeling my heart leap, I am still seeking 'peace' somewhere deep down.
And that is what allows me to walk even further.
Because I know that even in the middle of a storm, I can always let myself rest.
I am participating in a project by Rin Kiki!
