I love social media so much that I bought an 'iPhone exclusively for writing'

My main device is an iPhone 15, but I upgraded my secondary device from an iPhone SE to an iPhone 14. It cost about 60,000 yen used.

I love social media. I have a folder named 'SNS' where I line up X, note, and Discord, and I loop through them endlessly. Does it melt away my time? Maybe so.

That's why I bought the iPhone 14.
I don't keep any social interaction tools on its home screen.

It's a device for focusing on writing novels and prose poetry. (The SE's screen was too small, making it hard to write...)
By the way, I use YouTube to watch writing vlogs to get in the mood. Fortunately, I didn't get hooked on short-form videos.

I carry my secondary device with me even when I go out. I tether it to my main device's network to write or take notes on something.

Before bed, I start a sleep tracking app on my main device and play on my secondary device. I talk to ChatGPT or jot down novel ideas in Craft.

But you know, I really do love social media.
My main device is my 'reward' device.
Once I think, 'I've written enough for today!', I launch my social media apps on my main device.

Lately, I've been focusing on posting my work on X, so I don't chat much, but it's fun to see everyone else's posts.

The membership server for 'Mushoku-san' (The Unemployed), which I've been a part of since it opened, is just too interesting.

There are individual rooms, you see.
So, I have my own room too. There, I jot down the progress of worries I can't post on X, or notes on my thoughts regarding posts I've seen. (I'm writhing in agony there, so I think it's a pretty unsightly room.)

You can also peek into everyone else's rooms. It's okay to drop in uninvited and chat. Of course, there are also shared spaces. There are chat rooms, walking reports, habit-building rooms, and recently, rooms for planner habit support and fortune-telling by members have been created; it's become a scale that's too well-equipped to just be called a share house.

Ah, it's so fun.
For the reward of watching this, I'll write something on my iPhone 14 again today. (Of course, writing itself is also a reward!)

Since the note app is the easiest to write in, I'm considering adding it to my iPhone 14. I want to write a lot on note too!
