③シンプルに、笑顔が見たい！
私がこの仕事を選んだきっかけは、学生時代のイタリアンレストランでのアルバイトでした。
当時は「いつか有名なイタリアンのシェフになりたい」と思い、調理師免許を取り、レストランの厨房に入りました。
小さなお店だったので、料理を作るだけではなく、自分の手でお客様のもとへ運びます。
「美味しかったよ。」
そのひと言と笑顔をいただくたびに、あることに気づきました。
私が本当にしたかったのは、料理ではなく、その先にある笑顔だったのです。
料理は、その笑顔へたどり着くための、大切な橋渡しでした。
レストランサービスという仕事は、一見すると、とてもシンプルです。
お迎えし、料理を運び、お話をして、お見送りをする。
でも、そのシンプルな仕事だからこそ、自分らしい工夫ができます。
年齢を重ねるほど、経験が積み重なり、同じ仕事でも少しずつ味わいが変わっていく。そんな奥深さがあります。
人を笑顔にしたい。
そのために今日も淡々とワクワク働く。
理由は、とてもシンプル。
しかし私は全く派手さのない、
この生き方をかなり気に入ってます。
人生は、案外シンプルな理由だけで、十分に豊かになれるのかもしれません。

Just to See a Smile.
The reason I chose this profession goes back to a part-time job at an Italian restaurant during my student years.
Back then, I dreamed of becoming a renowned Italian chef. I earned my chef's license and began working in a restaurant kitchen.
Because it was a small restaurant, I didn't just prepare the dishes—I also served them to the guests myself.
"That was delicious."
Every time I heard those words and saw a smile,
I realized something.
What I truly wanted to create was not simply food, but the smiles that came after it.
Food was a bridge leading to those smiles.
Restaurant service may seem like a very simple job.
Welcoming guests, serving dishes, sharing conversations, and saying goodbye.
Yet it is precisely because the work is so simple that there is endless room to express yourself.
The more years pass, the more experience deepens, and the same work gradually takes on new meaning.
That is the true beauty of this profession.
I simply want to make people smile.
That is why I continue to work every day—
calmly, yet with excitement.
The reason is wonderfully simple.
Perhaps that's why I have grown so fond of this quiet, unassuming way of life.
Life, after all, can become wonderfully rich for surprisingly simple reasons.

Solo per vedere un sorriso.
Il motivo per cui ho scelto questo mestiere risale ai miei anni da studente, quando lavoravo part-time in un ristorante italiano.
All'epoca sognavo di diventare uno chef di fama. Ottenni il diploma da cuoco e iniziai a lavorare nella cucina di un ristorante.
Essendo un piccolo ristorante, non mi limitavo a preparare i piatti: li portavo personalmente ai clienti.
"Era delizioso."
Ogni volta che sentivo quelle parole e vedevo un sorriso, capii una cosa.
Ciò che desideravo davvero non era semplicemente cucinare, ma vedere il sorriso che nasceva dopo quel piatto.
La cucina era il ponte che conduceva a quel sorriso.
Il servizio di ristorante può sembrare un lavoro molto semplice.
Accogliere gli ospiti, servire i piatti, conversare e salutare.
Proprio perché è un lavoro semplice, offre infinite possibilità di esprimere la propria personalità.
Con il passare degli anni cresce l'esperienza, e lo stesso lavoro acquista ogni volta un significato più profondo.
È questo il fascino di questa professione.
Voglio semplicemente far sorridere le persone.
Per questo continuo a lavorare ogni giorno, con calma ma anche con entusiasmo.
il motivo è davvero semplice.
Forse è proprio per questo che amo questo modo di vivere, discreto e senza ostentazione.
In fondo, la vita può diventare straordinariamente ricca grazie a motivi sorprendentemente semplici.
