An Ordinary Housewife Opens an Administrative Scrivener Office: The First Year is Nerve-Wracking! Part 2: Blue or White?
* The story leading up to opening the administrative scrivener office is summarized in "Until an Ordinary Housewife Opens an Administrative Scrivener Office."
* It's not particularly useful for anything.
When submitting the opening notification to the tax office, you must choose a method for your final tax return.
There is the Blue Return and the White Return.
General differences
↓ ↓
<Blue Return>
Pros
・Can receive a deduction of up to 650,000 yen
・Can carry over losses for three years
・Salaries paid to family members can be treated as expenses
・Rent and electricity bills can be treated as expenses
・Fixed assets under 300,000 yen can be fully expensed
Cons
・Procedures are troublesome
<White Return>
Pros
・Procedures are easy
Cons
・Cannot receive the maximum 650,000 yen blue return special deduction
・Cannot carry over losses
・There is a limit on salaries paid to family members
(The deduction limit is 860,000 yen for a spouse, and 500,000 yen for others)
Looking at it from a tax perspective, the benefits of the Blue Return are significant.
I also chose the Blue Return myself.
However, it was troublesome regardless.
Partly because I wasn't used to it, the work progressed slowly, and I often felt like screaming!
If I have the opportunity, I will write about how I completed my final tax return!
To be continued!
