For those of us who struggle to rest — The beginning of gentle self-care.
Nice to meet you.
I am IROTAS.
This is a place for
“those of us who find it a bit hard to rest” . It was born to gently support a
“way of life that puts oneself last,”
whether you are constantly moving for the sake of others or
have left your heart behind in the busyness of daily life.
Why I started this note
For a long time,
“doing my best” was my default state every day.
Before I knew it,
I had forgotten how to rest,
my breathing had become shallow,
and my body was always in a state of tension.
“I’ll be fine if I just do a little more,”
“I can rest later.”
I kept running while telling myself these things,
and by the time I realized it, my heart had hardened,
and even smiling felt like a chore.
That was when I encountered the concept of
primary prevention (zero-order prevention) .
“Adjusting just a little before things get bad.”
I was saved by that kindness.
You don’t need elaborate care.
You don’t need to make big decisions.
Just by knowing
“small ways to rest,” your life will begin to change quietly.
I wanted to pass on that realization
to someone else who has been working just as hard.
What IROTAS values
In this note, rather than difficult theories or technical terms,
“ways to relax your heart in just a few seconds” are what I value most.
・Take one deep breath
・Loosen your posture softly
・Quiet the voice that blames yourself just a little
・Practice smiling for just one second
・Watch the steam rise
・Hold a warm drink
I will be collecting such “small self-care” practices.
And by your side, there will always be
a panda holding tea .
This panda is a presence that conveys
“It’s okay to rest,” “It’s okay to come back”
without using words.
It will stay quietly by your side
so that you can let your guard down.
This is a “place to return to”
The goal of this note is for you, the reader, to
gently return to yourself.
*From a life of constantly running for others
*To pausing for a moment,
*And regaining a breath that is kind to yourself
The accumulation of such “small changes”
is the best form of primary prevention.
Before your heart hardens,
I want to deliver a moment of gentle relief.
Finally
This note is a place to deliver not information, but “time”.
Time for you to soften.
Time for hope to be born for the future.
Please, while holding your favorite drink,
feel free to take a relaxed look.

Let’s explore “small ways to rest” together from here on.
Together with the panda, I am waiting for you.
