I want to talk about what I want to achieve on note

I thought about writing this in my self-introduction, but it was going to be a bit long, so I made it a separate article!

Hello, I ama 'cheerful career lost soul'Irohamaru.

In this article, I would like to declare what I want to achieve in the future! (Wait, what?)

There are things I absolutely want to do while I am alive.

What I want to achieve

What I want to achieve. It is

to create a society where you can start over as many times as you want

is what it is.

To that end, with the slogan'Being lost is fine! A fun life regardless', I plan to create and release various activities and services into the world.

From here on, I have written down the process that led to this idea.

I would be happy if those who can agree with my ambition and passion would read it ☆彡

If you have any thoughts or opinions, please send themhere☆彡

A student life spent on 'Gakuchika'

Everyone, have you ever read this book?

It is a book that delves into and examines the way of thinking of today's young people. I think it is a masterpiece where the author's unique and accurate expressions shine.

Unfortunately (?), I am not Gen Z, butmy heart is Gen Z. I understood the feelings of young people written in this book incredibly well.

Anyway, my university life was dedicated to creatingGakuchika(= things I put effort into during my student days) that I could appeal with.

The reason I dedicated my life to creating an amazing Gakuchika isbecause I want to get a job at a good company.

Employment is life. If I can't get a job at a good place, it's over. My life is over. Starting a business? A bit scary. For now, I want to get into a good place and praise myself. Because no one has ever praised me until now. Recognize me! Someone, recognize me~~~~!!!

How I felt back then

I couldn't help but worry about how others saw me.I wanted to be praised.

To be praised, I needed achievements. I didn't have time for academics.

People who get it will nod their heads off in agreement, but activities done for the sake of so-called "student achievements" are actually quite fun.

It feels like you're doing something special that others aren't...

And then, there's this aesthetic of scraping by in your studies with just enough credits and passing grades.

It's like, what even is university? (lol)

Ironically, those people often have better job placement records than those who worked hard at their studies.

But, you know?

The moment I got a job offer, I was overjoyed, like "Woohoo!" butI immediately turned into white ash. That was exactly me.

Or rather,I was already ash in my airplane seat on the way back from the final interview.
Even though I didn't know if I'd passed or not (lol)

This "ash" state continues even after you start working at a company.
You just stay sitting in the corner of the ring, not moving (lol).

Then you start thinking about your purpose in life, and you can't focus on work at all. Then, resignation, unemployment, job hopping... Welcome to the world of career lost-and-found! ☆彡

There was a time when I regretted that if things were going to turn out like this, I should have faced myself more and taken job hunting more seriously.

No, it's not that I didn't do it.

I did, but for some reason,I couldn't feel excited about working at a company.
I couldn't get a real sense of it either.

So, I feel like I was running away from job hunting by focusing on building up impressive student achievements.

How can I work in a way that's fun?

In the end, it feels like my working life started without ever finding the answer to that question.

But, I also wonder,is there really anyone who can find the answer to this question while they're still a student? There are people who find work that helps others, which becomes their purpose in life, and they think, "This is fun!"

Some people say that work is just a means to put food on the table. The main focus of life is hobbies! Hobbies are what add color to life!

Since we were implicitly taught during our (compulsory) education that the goal is to have an ideal job at an ideal company, we inevitably end up thinking that work is the main focus of life.

When we see people on social media leading brilliant careers, even before choosing a job, we compare what we can do and what we are good at with others, and end up unable to decide anything.
I think we are all fighting against this kind of suffering.

Man, these are tough times,I think.

The troublesome part is that this suffering dominates your mind constantly.

Whether you get married or have children, it doesn't matter; you keep thinking about it all the time.
Even if you go on a trip to clear your head or play with your children, you keep thinking about it, over and over again. What kind of work do I want to do?

I may have only been able to enjoy about half of the last ten years or so, which I should have enjoyed to the fullest.

Ah, what a waste!!!

A society that cannot find hope in working

As in a society becoming Gen Z-ified,there is no doubt that there are many people who cannot find hope in working. That is the kind of world we live in.

And such people are not limited to Gen Z; there are many adults in their 30s and 40s as well.

They can't find hope, but they want to. So they struggle desperately.
They don't have the luxury of caring about others, but they still do.
That's why everyone is just so stressed out.Everyone walks through the streets of Tokyo looking grumpy.

They keep searching for themselves while working. They are 'career lost children' who keep groping for a career that suits them. And because they can't find it easily, they get frustrated.

Because they are 'career lost children,' life itself feels boring.
They think too much and fall under the illusion that 'maybe I'm not needed by anyone.'

I have been living with those negative feelings for over 10 years.

Breaking free

But you know, when you worry about something that much, you eventually just break free.

The demon inside mefinally snapped (lol).

Aren't you frustrated that you're letting your life be ruined just by being a career lost soul?

Why do you have to let yourself think "I'm not good enough..." just by looking at high-achieving posts on social media?

Why do you have to deny your own existence just because you didn't get a job offer?
That company just didn't have an eye for talent. It just wasn't a good fit. That's all there is to it, right?

Before you knew it, you've become someone whocan only maintain your sense of self on the rails of other people's evaluations.

Even though you say you're searching for yourself, you're really just feeling down because you're comparing yourself to others, aren't you?

You probably won't be satisfied until all 100 out of 100 people tell you, "You should definitely live your life on this path!" right?

Were you born just to be compared to others?

That's not it, right?

There's no reason for being born anyway, so wouldn't it be better to have fun than to be bored!?

Don't let your life waver over something as trivial as a job!!

Lost? Bring it on!!!

Even if you find this so-called career, you'll just end up feeling unfulfilled again and start searching all over again. You'll be lost forever!!

That's when I realized.

Instead of trying to escape being a career lost soul, I should just live patiently and get along with it,I thought.

It seems like it would be more fun to be lost, as you get to see various scenery and meet various people (lol).

You should just hold your head high and say, "I'm lost!!"

Lost? Bring it on!!

The reason I was able to be this defiant about being a career lost soul is because I've been lost in society for over ten years.
Perhaps there is a moment when you break free after being a career lost soul for over 10 years.

Does it really take that long to break free?
Students don't have social experience, so it's painful, right? It's tough to jump into the swamp knowing that💦

Being lost is painful after all.

So, what should we do?
How can we think positively about being lost?

In that case,we should create a society where even career lost souls can be saved.
We should create a society where you can start over as many times as you want.

It would be great if it were a society where being lost is normal.
Since everyone is the same, you can accept yourself for being a little lost, right?

I have something on my mind.
I think one of the reasons for the current indescribable sense of stagnation in Japan is that it's overflowing with people who are career lost souls.

I suspect that the negative atmosphere permeating society stems from the fact that most people who view work as their entire life are lost in their careers.

Social issues like the declining birthrate and poverty might also be rooted in this negative atmosphere.

I believe most social problems ultimately boil down to a lack of money, but when people are negative about working, they become lethargic about earning, or they want to earn but get stuck in the mindset of searching for their 'true calling' first, which prevents them from fully focusing on their actual jobs.

Therefore, I believe that taking measures to help those lost in their careers will contribute to solving social problems.

Above all, I don't want my own children to suffer from the same things I did.
I want to create a society where the children of the future can have at least a little bit of hope.

So, what will I do on note?

A society where you can start over as many times as you want is the foundation for the activities I want to build on note.
I will dedicate as much funding as possible to these activities from my current main job (as an IT engineer and consultant) and the revenue from note.

I am considering making some of my note articles paid content in the future, so
if you sympathize with or support my mission, I would be happy if you could purchase them as a form of donation.

As for what I want to do now:

・Posting articles looking back on the more than 10 years I spent struggling as a 'career lost soul'
⇒ Sharing with readers the secrets and mindset that allowed me to live a decent life despite my struggles, in an easy-to-understand and enjoyable way.

Writing articles about people who succeeded or failed at changing careers
⇒ Helping readers think, 'I can do this too!' and giving them a trigger to take action. I will also introduce related recommended books.

・Writing articles about people with unique ways of working

・Supporting freelancers
⇒ Starting with my area of expertise, IT engineering, I will provide the support I can.

・Other-analysis support
⇒ Before selecting a new job, I will support career choices based on 'other-analysis' (an analysis method where you re-examine yourself based on how others see you).

I also want to provide more eccentric and wild services (lol)

If you have any opinions or are interested, please contact me here☆彡

Thank you for reading this long post!! ☆彡
I'll do my best (^^
