Anglerfish Team, Fallen | Girls und Panzer das Finale: Part 4

In a world where the martial art of 'Sensha-do' (tankery) using tanks is considered a refined skill for young ladies, alongside flower arrangement and the tea ceremony.

The protagonist, Miho Nishizumi, is the daughter of the head of the Nishizumi style of tankery and was herself the vice-commander at the prestigious tankery school, Kuromorimine Girls Academy.

However, Kuromorimine Girls Academy lost in the finals of the National High School Tankery Tournament, where they were aiming for their 10th consecutive victory, due to Miho's decision to prioritize rescuing her teammates after their tank fell into a river.

To distance herself from tankery, Miho transferred to Oarai Girls Academy, which did not have a tankery program.

However, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology requested that high schools and universities across the country put more effort into tankery, and so the program was revived at Oarai Girls Academy as well.

At first, Miho hesitated to return to the path of tankery, but by helping and supporting her friends, she found her way back into the world of tankery.

And so, the completely unknown Oarai Girls Academy, centered around Miho Nishizumi, won numerous battles and eventually came to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the powerhouse schools.

In this 'Girls und Panzer das Finale', the tankery team decides to participate in the Winter Continuous Track Cup in order to help Momo Kawashima, a member of the student council and a fellow tankery teammate, pass her university entrance exams...!

The latest episode, well worth the wait.

At the end of Part 3, Oarai Girls lost the Anglerfish Team, including their commander, Miho Nishizumi.

What will happen?! What will happen?!

That was the state of excitement in which 2021 ended. I waited... I waited for a long time.

When Anchovy (while watching the match) said that Oarai Girls, having lost the Anglerfish Team, was like 'pasta with sauce but no pasta,' Pepperoni retorted with something that was hard to tell if it was a joke or a serious comment, saying, 'Isn't that just sauce?!'... Pepperoni is great (I love Pepperoni). I want to see the Anzio battle in anime again. Not this one, a new one.

But really, that's it. With Miho, who had been the commander throughout the series, missing, what will happen to Oarai Girls Academy?!

While everyone was in a state of panic, command was transferred to the student council president, Anzu Kadotani.

However, that didn't last long, and the Turtle Team fell while trying to escape the Continuation High School encirclement.

By the consensus of the remaining members, command was entrusted to Sawa of the Rabbit Team.

Whoa, what an intense development!
Nishizumi, the de facto commander, and Kadotani, the vice-commander, have been leading the team since the TV series, but now there's a changing of the guard!!

Along the way, Katyusha from Pravda said, 'Wait, isn't that one of ours (tanks)?!', but Continuation High School is a school modeled after Finland.
I thought, 'Finland really doesn't have the capability to develop tanks...', but then I realized the Finnish army used tanks supplied by their ally Germany and ones captured from the Russian army.

By the way, it seems Continuation High School also uses tanks they received from fighting Pravda High School.
Oh, how historically accurate (lol).

And, Russian-made tanks have thick armor!
No matter how many times they shoot, the white flag just won't go up.

The battle in the snow reminds me of the Pravda battle in the TV series, but the scale of the power-up in this snowy mountain battle is incredible!

In particular, the artillery battle that unfolds while sliding down the snowy mountain is on a level that makes you wonder if it's Star Wars.
When I read the pamphlet, it said the speed was so fast that the staff had to check it frame by frame.
No, it really was amazing.

It was also great how Tami from Continuation High School noticed that Ooarai Girls' Academy had split into two groups amidst the snow clouds. So cool.
I admire this kind of calm type.

The subsequent showdown between Erika's Kuromorimine and Darjeeling's St. Gloriana was also great!
This one was a confrontation on a dusty field.

Kuromorimine, who was being surrounded by St. Gloriana firing down on them, escaped by taking advantage of the sandstorm!

And just when they did, here it comes!
Alice Shimada!!!

The St. Gloriana uniform suits her... Alice. She's cute.

I hear 'Girls und Panzer das Finale' will have 6 parts in total, so there are only 2 parts left!
That said, since it takes about two years for each part, it will probably take another 4 or 5 years to finish.

Once they are all released, I want to watch all 6 parts in a row.

This was another heart-pounding, great movie!
Girls und Panzer is good. Girls und Panzer is really good...
