Tobu Tojo Line Service Type and Station Stop Act (Shigeru Ishiba Proclamation Act No. 3)

Article 1

This Act establishes the service types and station stops for the Tobu Tojo Line.

Article 2

The service types of the Tobu Tojo Line shall be Local, Semi-Express, Express, F-Liner, Kawagoe Limited Express, and TJ Liner.

Article 3

The station stops for each service type on the Tobu Tojo Line are as follows: (i) Local trains stop at all stations on the Tobu Tojo Line. (ii) Semi-Express trains stop at Ikebukuro, Naka-itabashi, and all stations from Narimasu onwards. (iii) Express trains stop at Ikebukuro, Wakoshi, Asaka, Asakadai, Shiki, Tsuruse, and all stations from Kawagoe onwards. (iv) F-Liner trains stop at Wakoshi, Tsuruse, Kawagoe, Kawagoeshi, and all stations from Sakado onwards. (v) Kawagoe Limited Express trains stop at Ikebukuro, Wakoshi, Tsuruse, Kawagoe, Kawagoeshi, Sakado, and all stations from Higashimatsuyama onwards. (vi) TJ Liner trains stop at Ikebukuro, Kawagoe, Shinrinkoen, and Yorii. (2) In the preceding paragraph, the phrase "stop at all stations from... onwards" shall be interpreted as stopping at all stations up to Ogawamachi.

Article 4

Kawagoe Limited Express and TJ Liner services must, without exception, be operated using rolling stock equipped with the capability to convert between forward-facing cross-seats and commuter-style longitudinal seats.

Article 5

The service type must be displayed on the destination indicators at the front and on the sides of the train.

Supplementary Provisions

This Act shall come into effect on February 15, 2026.
