🎦 Review of 'Clue': A super funny locked-room murder comedy (lol)
This is incredible! I've found such an insanely funny movie🕵️It's a movie where people keep dying in a locked-room murder mystery, yet it's absolutely hilarious (lol)
You'll laugh periodically and someone dies periodically, so you never get bored (lol)
Six people are invited to a mansion. They don't know who invited them, and they are introduced by aliases. The one thing they have in common is that they are all being blackmailed by someone. Their respective crimes are revealed by 'Mr. Boddy,' who is supposedly the person behind the blackmail, and they are each handed a weapon. Then the lights go out, and when they come back on, Mr. Boddy is dead...
Reading the synopsis like this, it sounds pretty cliché, doesn't it? But it's actually not (lol)
This is the first movie I've ever seen where every single character is constantly moving around the screen and doing comedy to the max (lol)
It's insanely comedic (lol). It's comedy right from the start.
Even the scene where they are handed the weapons is comedy (lol)
However,murders happen one after another in quite violent ways.
This is the first murder mystery work that's made me laugh this much, and the first one that's made me absolutely want to watch it again after finishing it!
The crucial mystery-solving part is also enjoyable despite being a comedy; it's a proper mystery. The relationships between the characters are also depicted exquisitely, so you can watch it while wondering, 'Why?! Who could it be?!'
The acting is also top-notch with a slightly exaggerated, comedic touch (lol)
It's a work you can just enjoy and laugh at without thinking about anything.Christopher Lloyd, who played Doc in Back to the Future, is in it. The movies are from the same era, so I was happy to see Christopher Lloyd's acting as usual.
(I had only seen him in The Addams Family and Back to the Future)

Believe it or not... there are 3 possible endings! Apparently, when it was released in 1985, different endings were shown depending on the theater.
What is that! Isn't that too funny? Lol
Is it even possible to have different endings depending on the theater?!
It seems that on the DVD, you can choose to have a random ending selected or watch all of them at the end. Too funny!
I watched the version with all of them at the end, and I didn't know there were three, so I was like, 'Huh! What! Huh!' (lol). By the way, I feel like the last one is the most convincing, but honestly, the second one was my guess. What about you all? I'm curious (lol)
I watched it while fast-forwarding, thinking I'd have to watch it again, but it's quite cleverly made and enjoyable (lol).
In other words, you should be able to enjoy it three times over. Man, that was a great watch!
