🎦 "The Naked Gun" Review 🚨 A silly movie that will have you giggling like a child (lol)
I think this might be the silliest movie in film history 🤣
No matter how much of a tolerance you have, I don't think there's a single person who wouldn't laugh at this, I pinky swear (lol)
A slapstick comedy where Lieutenant Frank Drebin of the NYPD struggles to stop an assassination plot against Queen Elizabeth during her visit to the US.
There's no such thing as compliance here, and if something happens, watching this movie is a surefire way to deal with it!
It's a story about Lieutenant Drebin, played by Leslie Nielsen, solving a case, and the plot itself is actually quite normal (lol)
He repeats quite a lot of gag-like actions, but there are parts that are surprisingly sharp, and with the help of those around him and some luck, he somehow manages to solve difficult cases, that's the story (lol)
There are many scenes with parodies and lookalikes, and I feel like there are probably quite a few that I just didn't notice (lol). A Gorbachev lookalike appears in the opening scene, and he rubs off that trademark birthmark of his 🤣
Anyway, the Queen Elizabeth lookalike was so similar.

I wonder if there's any actor as good at comedy as Leslie Nielsen. I really feel like he's the only one who could play this role (lol)
He rummages through a drawer, finds something, and says "Bingo!" but what he found was... an actual game of Bingo (lol)

I really wish they'd stop with the surprise attacks (lol)
There are many other impossibly silly scenes, but it never devolves into just a "what are you doing, haha" skit; it pushes right to the edge, making it a truly amazing movie.

I don't usually watch comedy, and I'm actually not a fan of it, and I rarely laugh in scenes where everyone else is laughing out loud, but it's impossible not to laugh out loud at this 🤣
Really... it's a movie where all of humanity will definitely be able to laugh out loud at some point. Viva America!!!
