How to use AI as external storage and seed it with ideas
I believe that ideas shouldn't be forced out suddenly, but rather that you should seed them into AI on a daily basis.
Whether I'm using my smartwatch, smartphone, or PC, I talk to Gemini dozens of times a day the moment an idea pops into my head.
The content ranges from current events to completely trivial matters.
For example, here is today's history.
"Pure chocolate"
"Twice the number of times of bye-bye fight"
"Differences between incidents, rebellions, and wars in Japanese history"
"Origin of Pikmin"
"Unofficial review sites like Judge Map"
"Manifestos of candidates for ward mayor elections"
"Duration of the Vietnam War"
"Ontology construction"
"Chemical symbol for gold"
"Life log visualization"
"AI-related stocks"
"Ai Tominaga"
It really is quite a mess...
While there is an aspect of using it just for recording, or thinking I'll look back at it later when I'm genuinely interested, another way I use it is to input keywords of interest to seed ideas.
To give you an example of what I mean, when I'm trying to do life hacks in my work or private life, and I'm building apps with Claude or creating Geminis, I often run out of ideas or can't think of good combinations.
At times like that, instead of asking the AI "Do you have any good ideas?", I often have it search through my history to see if there are any seeds.

When I do that, it comes up with such interesting ideas. Don't you think they're pretty good?
Yakiniku/Sushi PFC Simulator
A CLI tool that simply visualizes how many plates of specific cuts (tongue, skirt steak, lean meat, etc.) or toppings you need to eat when dining out (yakiniku or sushi) to reach the 30g fat threshold.
Yamazaki Jitsugyo Simulator
A calculation tool that, when you input the dimensions of dead space in your home, automatically matches products from the Yamazaki Jitsugyo lineup that fit those sizes to maximize storage efficiency.
Sobriety/Caffeine-Free Savings Viewer
A tool that visualizes the number of days you've stayed sober or caffeine-free, not just as a number, but as "money saved" or "sleep time gained," and displays it along with a random philosopher's quote (like Seneca or Camus) when you launch your terminal.
Philosophical Dialogue Bot
An interactive CLI for self-discipline that randomly presents a passage from a classic (such as "On Anger") every morning and asks you to input in one line "how you will practice this in your work today."
Agent Filter
A tool that analyzes scout messages from agents and recruiters, scores them based on their alignment with your own career strategy (outcome-oriented), and automatically determines the priority for replying.
1-on-1 Highlighter
A management support tool that structurally manages the content of dialogues with each team member in a Markdown file on VS Code and highlights "unresolved issues" that should be touched upon in the next meeting.
Ward Elevation Map
A map utility that references elevation data within a 10km radius to generate 'flat routes that are easy on the knees' or 'uphill routes that increase the load' for a 10,000-step walk.
In this way, you can throw anything into it, whether it's work-related, daily troubles, questions, or inquiries. Rather than just throwing them in, you should throw them in constantly—throw everything in.
If you keep a log with the mindset of having a conversation about everything, when you are in trouble or looking for a seed of an idea, the ideas will emerge in a state where they have already been linked and tagged within your own brain.
Recently, tools like Gemini in Chrome have emerged, so if you write down your thoughts via voice input while looking at something on a website, you aren't just using AI to search for the same information. Instead, what you referenced at that time, your thoughts on it, and the AI's response to that will all be turned into a database.

I am the type of person who enjoys quantifying things by counting the number of threads and interactions I've created, thinking, 'Wow, I used it that much!' But even if you aren't like that, I believe there are many ways to enjoy it, such as listing what you were thinking about each day or turning it into an image in a calendar format.
Do it while having fun. Keeping that in mind, keep putting your own unique ideas into your external storage. I believe that whether or not you do this preparation will make a huge difference.
