Announcing the '#SummerSnapshot' Photo Contest! Winners receive a cash prize and an exhibition at the '404 Museum'

From August 8th to September 9th, we are holding a photo contest with the theme of "Summer." In this peak summer season, why not capture and share the "summer-like moments" you've discovered?
Whether it's scenery from your travels, a refreshing shaved ice, or a moment with family during a homecoming visit... any subject for your photo is welcome.
From the entries that meet the submission requirements below, the note editorial department will select 20 works to be exhibited in the "404 Museum" (*), which appears on our 404 page.
Among these 20 works, we will comprehensively judge them based on how well they fit the theme, photo quality, originality, and reader response (number of likes and comments). The 5 most compelling works will receive a 10,000 yen Amazon gift card!
(*) What is the 404 Museum?
The error message that appears when you access a URL that does not exist is called a "404." At note, we display creators' photos and illustrations on that 404 page and call it the "404 Museum" (the works change randomly when you reload the page).
The device you use to take the photo doesn't matter! Smartphones and cameras are both very welcome.
Please post a photo that captures your version of "summer" to note!

For this contest, we asked Mr. Hayashi, who shares content related to photography and video on note, to create some reference works. Please take a look and use them as a reference for your own submission.

■ Submission Requirements
Please post one photo that captures a scene you feel is "summer-like" from your travels or daily life.
Submission format: 1 photo
Required hashtag: #SummerSnapshot
Image size: No specific requirement, but at least 1,000px on one side is preferred
Theme: Scenes that feel 'summery,' whether from your travels or daily life
* You may upload multiple images when posting, but only the first image will be considered for selection.

You may also write a caption or essay to supplement the photo (optional).

Text article: Include in the title or body text
Image article: Include in the title or image description field

Post with the '#SummerSnapshot' hashtag on the publishing settings screen
* You may submit multiple works as an individual.
* You may upload photos within a text article, or post them as an image article or tweet article.
* While you can upload multiple images when posting, only the first image will be considered for selection.
* Entries are generally expected to be free to view, but paid articles or membership-only articles are also acceptable. However, please ensure the relevant photo is visible in the free section.
* Participation is complete once the banner image is displayed at the bottom of the article during the submission period.

* After the judging is complete, the note management office will contact the winners.

・Copyright of submitted works belongs to the creator.

・The note management team may remove hashtags from submission articles that are unrelated to the contest theme.
■ About Judging and Winning Works
・While you can upload multiple images when posting, only the first image will be considered for selection.
・We cannot respond to inquiries regarding judging criteria.
・If a winning work or the creator themselves is found to be in violation of the Terms of Service, the award may be revoked even after judging.
・The announcement of winning works will be made via this article and by email to the winners.
・To send the Amazon Gift Card prize, the management office will verify your identity. If verification is not possible, the award eligibility will be revoked.
・The delivery of the prize is completed upon sending the Amazon Gift Card to the winner's email address after identity verification is complete.
・The handling of personal information will be in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
