We are calling for posts aimed at teenagers struggling at the end of summer using the hashtag #OnTheNightOfAugust31st.
Thank you for using note.
When you were a child, did you ever feel like you didn't want to go to school?
According to statistical data, the end of summer vacation, specifically late August, is said to be the time of year when teenage suicide is at its highest. Many of you who have lived through your teenage years may be able to empathize with the feelings of children who feel like they don't want to go to school for some reason, who cannot confide in anyone about painful events, or who feel distressed without even knowing exactly what is causing their pain.
Why not write a note for teenagers who are struggling right now?
As summer vacation comes to an end, note is calling for memories and episodes from when you were a teenager that made you feel anxious or uneasy. Please share your own past experiences and your thoughts on them now that some time has passed, using the hashtag #OnTheNightOfAugust31st.
This project is inspired by the NHK E-Tele campaign, "#OnTheNightOfAugust31st." This initiative, which aims to listen to the anxious and melancholy feelings on the last night of summer vacation and the painful thoughts that cannot be told to anyone, seems to have been received with a great response.
This site aims to be a place where teenagers can vent and share feelings like "I don't want to go to school" or "It's hard to live." It started with the hashtag "#OnTheNightOfAugust31st," which was launched to share the anxious and melancholy feelings of the last night of summer vacation. On Heart Net TV, we will continue to stand by the feelings of teenagers throughout the year through this site and the hashtag. (From the program website)
At note, we also empathize with this idea and have decided to widely call for posts from those who were once teenagers. Of course, we are also waiting for posts from teenagers themselves.
When posting, please include the hashtag #OnTheNightOfAugust31st. We may feature your post on our official account. We look forward to your posts.
*If the content of the article is unrelated to the hashtag, the management may remove the hashtag.
