The Japan Securities Dealers Association and note are hosting a submission contest with the theme "#ThingsIThinkAboutRegardingMoney".
With the major changes in society and our daily lives over the past few years, many people have likely changed how they use and think about "money," which is such a familiar part of our lives. It is not just about fluctuations in income; perhaps you have had more money on hand due to fewer trips and outings, or you have started spending money on different things than before.
Reflecting such changes, it is said that in the last few years, there has been an increased awareness among the younger generation, including those in their 20s and 30s, to review their own finances and think about their future money. It seems that the number of people who have actually started securities investment or who want to consider it in the future is also increasing.
Therefore, we are calling for submissions about what you are thinking regarding "money," such as things you want to start doing from now on or things you have recently started.
We will soon be welcoming the New Year. Please share your "#ThingsIThinkAboutRegardingMoney" widely, whether as a resolution for next year or as a reflection on this year.

Submissions can be in any format, including text, illustrations, manga, or videos.
When posting, please include the hashtag " #ThingsIThinkAboutRegardingMoney".
Reference Works
For this contest, we asked Hiro Matsui and Masami Kawaguchi to create reference works. The articles will be published sequentially. Please take a look and use them as a reference for your own submission.

Background of the Contest
The Japan Securities Dealers Association conducts public relations activities to provide insights and opportunities for investment to those who are not interested in securities investment or have no investment experience, especially the younger generation in their 20s to 40s. In September 2021, we launched the YouTube channel "Toshi wa Jiwaka Channel", featuring popular video creators Hajime Syacho and Hiroshi Seto as main personalities. Please take a look.
Also, the latest survey introduced on our special site "Finally Understood, My First Investment!" reveals facts such as "the average age of people who recently started investing is 29.6" and "about half of those using NISA have an annual income of less than 3 million yen," showing that "the hurdles to investing are steadily lowering" as well as "real voices from people who recently made their investment debut", such as "I started thinking about ways to increase my money that don't rely solely on income because I felt anxious about the future due to the impact of COVID-19" and "I started NISA because my savings alone won't grow." We would love to collect posts that express your experiences with securities investment or your thoughts on wanting to try it. We hope this contest will be an opportunity for you to re-examine your thoughts on money and share them with us. (Japan Securities Dealers Association note team)
