To make posting on note easier and smoother, we are consolidating our posting formats into one.

Until now, note has offered five formats—Image, Text (Short), Audio, Video, and Text—to match different posting styles. However, many of you have felt it was difficult to know which one to choose.

Therefore, we are unifying the entry point for posts. Creators will be able to express themselves more easily with a more user-friendly posting screen than ever before. Additionally, since development and operations on the note side will become simpler, we can focus more on helping you with your creative work.

We are proceeding with development sequentially so that you can express your writing, photos, manga, illustrations, videos, audio, and more using a single posting format. Please see the schedule below for details. We would appreciate it if you could share any requests you may have.

The change to consolidate the post buttons will be implemented in stages so that everyone can get used to it.

1. The post button will change for new members (Scheduled for late May 2025)
New users will see only one button for posting.

2. The post button will change for existing members (Scheduled for late May 2025)
For those who are not using the four posting formats (Image, Text (Short), Audio, Video), the post buttons will be consolidated into one. Those who are using these formats can continue to use their post buttons as they are.

3. "Image" will be discontinued (Scheduled for early June 2025)
The "Image" post button will be removed for all users. You can continue to enjoy posting manga, illustrations, and photos as you can freely place images within your articles.

4. "Video" will be discontinued (Scheduled for early June 2025)
The "Video" post button will be removed for all users. You can continue to enjoy sharing videos as you can freely insert video links uploaded to external sites within your articles.

5. "Audio" will be discontinued, and it will become possible to embed audio within articles (Sequentially as soon as step 4 is complete)
The "Audio" post button will be removed for all users. At the same time, a feature will be added to embed audio data directly into articles. You will be able to display supplementary information about the audio being distributed more clearly, so please continue to use it for radio and music distribution.

6. "Text (Short)" will be discontinued, and a replacement feature is planned (Sequentially as soon as step 5 is complete)
The "Text (Short)" post button will be removed for all users. We are considering a replacement feature, so please continue to enjoy casual posting.
