Creator page and magazine header image sizes are changing

We have changed the image sizes for creator pages and magazines!
Please take a look at your own page.
Recommended image sizes are summarized on the help page.
To make your work more noticeable, the height of the header image size for note creator pages and magazines will be changed.
* The change is scheduled for June 17.
We will introduce templates for creating images and display samples (described below), so please try preparing images in the new format!
Changes
The vertical height of the image displayed in the header section of creator pages and magazines will be reduced.
● Basic size
・1,280 × 670 px (same ratio as article header images)
→ The center 216px will be displayed on the creatorpage/magazine
● Recommended size
・1,920 × 1006 px
→ The center 324px will be displayed on the creator page/magazine.
The recommended ratio for images to be registered is 1.91:1.

Since header images are stretched and displayed on large displays, if you want them to look clean, try using a larger image.
The center portion will be cropped and displayed on the creator page/magazine.
We recommend placing text and elements you want to show in the center. Note that even if you have already registered an image, it will be automatically cropped to this size.
The reason for registering a size larger than the header image is so that it will be displayed optimally on each social media platform when shared on Twitter or Facebook.
By registering at 1280 × 670 px, which is also the size of note article header images, you can display the image in a large and prominent way when shared.
note also supports "delivering works and creators to the world." We believe that sharing on social media is a great power for that, which is why we adopted these specifications.
Background of the change
This change may cause some inconvenience to our creators. Therefore, we would like to explain the background of this change.
The current header image had the disadvantage of taking up too much screen space when viewed on large computer displays. Even when new work was posted, it wouldn't fit within the view, making it difficult for readers to notice.
Therefore, we have decided to switch to a new image size so that the work, which is the main focus, is easier to see.
By reducing the height of the image, we can preserve the display area for your work even on large monitors.

You can continue to use the images currently registered, but there is a possibility that they may be cropped in unintended ways.
To help with this, we have prepared sample materials to make it easier to create images in the new size. Since this is the first thing readers see when they visit your profile, please download them and use them as a reference.
