Yamaha Motor and note are holding a submission contest with the theme "#TheMomentMyEngineStarted"!

Many of you have likely felt that moment when you're working or engrossed in a hobby, and you suddenly get into the zone, feel motivated, and your spirits lift—the moment you feel like, "My engine has started!"

Also, some of you may have experienced a surge of fighting spirit when standing at a crossroads in life or when pushed into a corner, or perhaps you've had an experience where that moment changed your life or lifestyle.

We are looking for your stories about that "moment your engine started" or about "things that get your engine running."

With less than a month left in 2021, please feel free to post about "the moment your engine was most active this year" or "what you are currently doing to get your engine running for next year."

概要

For your submission, you can use any format, including text, illustrations, manga, or videos.
When posting, please include the hashtag " #TheMomentMyEngineStarted".

Background of the Contest

When do you use the word 'moving' or 'inspiring'?

The form and scale of 'inspiration' vary from person to person.
However, all of them have the power to heal a tired heart, become vitality for tomorrow, or serve as a guide for the future...
I believe they hold the power to change our feelings, thoughts, and sometimes even our lives.

Yamaha Motor is a company that manufactures and sells products centered on vehicles like motorcycles.
And we want to be a 'Kando Creation Company' (a company that creates deep emotion).

Our work is not just about selling motorcycles and boats.
Our work and mission are to have customers ride our motorcycles and boats and experience emotions that exceed their expectations.

Yamaha Motor uses 'Revs your Heart' as our brand slogan as a vow to embody this 'Kando Creation Company.'
The word 'Rev' means to increase engine speed and to excite.

Inspiration is what starts the engine in your heart.
I believe that moment of inspiration—the moment the engine starts—is a very precious instant.

As society changes and diversifies, the forms of human happiness are also diversifying.
And in these past two years, society has changed more significantly than ever before.
That is exactly why we want to think together about the various inspirations and driving forces that move you.

Please tell us about your '#TheMomentTheEngineStarted'.

This contest is a theme-based project held with the sponsorship of Yamaha Motor to support the creative work of note creators. Please be sure to post with the hashtag!
