The note home screen has been renewed! It is now easier to discover creators and articles through recommendations based on your interests.
The note home screen has been renewed, making it a place where it is easier to discover articles that match your interests!
We began gradually switching to the new home screen around March of this year, and have been expanding its availability while incorporating your feedback. As of today, the new home screen is available to all creators (please update to the latest version if you are using the iOS/Android app).
On the new home screen, we extract and display articles based on topics that match your interests, drawn from the articles you have read so far. By reading a variety of articles, you will find it easier to encounter content that aligns with your interests, and your home screen will become more personalized.
The new home screen

1. Following
New posts from people you follow are displayed here.
By switching the home view from "All" to "Following," you can display only the list of people you follow on your home screen.

2. Recommended for you
Displays articles recommended for you based on your browsing history and other factors.
If an article you are not interested in appears, you can press the "Not interested" button from the three-dot menu on each article to stop it from being displayed in the future.

3. Topics you might be interested in
Articles extracted by topics you might be interested in are displayed here.
If you feel a topic is unnecessary, inappropriate, or unpleasant, you can choose to stop it from being displayed in the future. Detailed instructions can be found here.

Feedback received during the experimental period
The new home screen was gradually released starting in March of this year, and we have been receiving feedback from those who have been using it.
We have received a total of 154 pieces of feedback! We have read through all of them and used them as a reference. Thank you to everyone who sent us your thoughts.
One of the improvements made based on your feedback is the "Hide/Report" button.

Initially, the button was labeled "Not interested," but we received feedback that it was difficult to press if you just wanted to hide it, so we changed it to the simpler "Hide".
The renewed note home screen makes it easier to discover articles and creators you like the more you browse.
We would be happy if you could also utilize features like "Report" to help make your home screen experience more comfortable.
At note, we consider improvements based on the opinions and requests of our creators. We will continue to work on creating an environment where it is easy to engage in creative activities, so please feel free to share your feedback.
A list of improvements made so far is summarized in this article.
The latest information on improvements is also announced on our official Twitter.
