The article comment section has been renewed! You can now reply to individual comments that interest you
The article comment section is now easier to view and easier to reply to!
With this renewal, you can now reply to each comment individually. Notifications will only be sent to the person you replied to.
The new comment section system will be available for articles published on or after 10:00 AM on Monday, September 8, 2025. This feature is designed to make communication between creators and readers, as well as among readers themselves, more comfortable. We hope you enjoy interacting in the comment section!
Main changes to the comment section
You will be able to reply individually to comments on articles. Notifications will only be sent to the person you replied to.
The comment section will be displayed in newest first order, with the latest comments always appearing at the top. On the screen of the creator who published the article, comments can be switched to oldest first to make it easier to reply.
When you click a notification on note, you will be taken directly to the comment that received a reply. You can continue the conversation without losing track of the flow.
How to reply to a comment
1) Check the comment section below the article
2) Click the speech bubble icon on the comment you want to reply to
3) Enter your comment and click "Send"
4) The comment will be posted
5) After that, "X replies" will be displayed in the comment section, and the conversation will be in a thread format
About comment notifications
Notifications will be sent on note only to the person you replied to. When you press the notification, you can immediately jump to the replied comment section.
*Available on the web version and app of note
*The new comment section and notifications apply only to articles published on or after 10:00 AM on Monday, September 8, 2025. Articles published before that will remain with the old comment section and old notification method. For details, please see the help page "About the specifications of the article comment section". Please note that the specifications for the app differ slightly from the web version.
App version
When you update to the latest version of the app (version 9.17.0 or later), the new comment section will be applied to articles published after this feature release.
This renewal of the comment section was improved based on the feedback from our creators. Thank you very much to everyone who sent us their opinions and impressions! We plan to continue working on improving the comment section.
