Summary of May Improvements: Achievement tips on badge pages, text-to-speech fixes, displaying new magazines, and more
At note, our improvement team works daily to make note a more user-friendly place. Here is a summary of the improvements made in May.
■You can now start writing an article or memo the moment inspiration strikes at note.com/new!
Enter "note.com/new" into your web browser's address bar and visit the page. You will be redirected to note's new post page (https://note.com/notes/new), allowing you to start writing your article immediately.

By bookmarking it and writing immediately like a memo the moment you have an idea, you might find that your drafts have become a treasure trove of great content before you know it.
■We have added achievement tips and links to feature settings on the badge page!
Badges are awarded when you clear specific conditions on note. On the badge page where these are summarized, explanations of the "actions required to earn a badge" are now displayed.

You can check the badges you have earned and the conditions for earning new ones from your dashboard. Badges are designed to introduce you to the many features of note in a friendly way. With this improvement, we believe the "guide" function of note has been further strengthened.
■We have fixed and added features for screen reader support
A screen reader is software that reads aloud the content displayed on the screen and keyboard input for users with visual impairments. In this improvement, we have corrected and added information that screen readers can interpret, increasing the number of areas where users can understand features and perform operations by five.
1. Search operations are now possible from the header area 2. Some icons are now read aloud in Japanese 3. Table of contents heading level changes and keyboard operation are now possible 4. Checkboxes are now operable on the account settings page 5. Headings within the body text changed from h3 to h2
This improvement is just the first step in enhancing note's accessibility. To create an environment where everyone can enjoy creating regardless of their environment or physical and mental conditions, we will continue to work on improving accessibility one step at a time, in our own note-like way.
■ New subscription magazines are now displayed on the magazine page
Magazine page, new subscription magazines are now displayed! This might be a chance to find subscription magazines with content you are interested in. Please be sure to check them out.

■ You can now check messages sent with support after the fact
On note, you can send support to articles by wonderful creators. When you send support with a message, you can now check the message you sent in the Account Settings under Purchase History.

■ Authors will now receive a notification when an article is added to a magazine
When you add an article to a collaborative magazine, the author of the added article will now receive a notification! We hope this makes it easier for creators to connect with each other.

■ Smartphone app usability has been significantly improved!
The usability of the smartphone app has been improved. In May, we made the following updates.
[iOS Version]

・You can now display the text editor using Siri Shortcuts. You can start writing an article immediately from the Siri suggestions that appear when you scroll to the far left of your iPhone home screen.

・The text editor has been updated to make the currently selected line easier to see.
・The design of text input fields, such as those for login IDs, passwords, and reactions, has been changed.
・You can now perform the account deletion process from account settings.
・Fixed an issue where the magazine screen would not display.
・Fixed an issue where embedded content from external services would not display in the text editor.
