Article 'Duplication' is now possible! We have released a feature for Premium members

A feature to duplicate note articles has been released for note Premium members.

The duplication feature allows you to duplicate published or draft articles to quickly create new ones. Depending on how you use it, you can also create your own original templates.

We want you to spend your time creating rather than spending time on tasks like copying and pasting content every time. With that in mind, we decided to develop this feature.

How to duplicate an article

  1. Access the article list page or the page of the article you want to duplicate

  2. Click the [Duplicate] button from the three-dot menu (...)

When you duplicate, the editor screen for the new article will open, carrying over the elements from the original article.

Notes

At this stage, the feature only supports text portions. The following elements will not be duplicated.

  • Cover image

  • Images in the body

  • Quotes

  • Attached files

  • Embedded links

  • Hashtags

  • Magazine settings

While we have made this available exclusively to note Premium members for now, we plan to release it to the general public in the not-too-distant future. If you have any feedback or requests, we would appreciate it if you could share this article or leave a comment.

Feedback we received

This duplication feature was a request we received from many creators who update their notes regularly. Thank you for your valuable feedback!

Feedback from

"When writing on similar themes, I think it would be good to have an article copy feature so that I can standardize the opening and article structure."

"I want to duplicate a draft template to write articles. I want to save the trouble of pasting the same links every time."

"It would be easier and save time if I could duplicate articles when creating similar series. What do you think?"

Not limited to this new feature, we will continue to make improvements while listening to requests from all creators to create an environment where it is easy to create on note. Please let us know your thoughts.
