You can now set 'First Month Free' for subscription magazines outside of the start month!

You can now toggle the 'First Month Free' setting for subscription magazines ON or OFF at any time, not just during the start month. Previously, 'First Month Free' could only be set when the magazine was first launched, but now it can be changed whenever you like. This allows you to do things like 'make the first month free only in December as a year-end campaign.' Magazine owners, please feel free to take advantage of this.

* Changes to the 'First Month Free' ON/OFF setting will take effect from the 1st of the following month.
* If there is a discrepancy between the period you actually offered as 'First Month Free' and what you announced in advance, it may violate the Act against Unjustifiable Premiums and Misleading Representations (misleading representation of advantages). Please double-check that your settings match what you have announced to your readers before using this feature.

What is the First Month Free feature?

This is a feature that makes the subscription fee for the month the reader starts their subscription free. When this feature is enabled, a 'First Month Free' mark will appear on your magazine.

How to set up First Month Free

From your magazine list, select the magazine for which you want to toggle 'First Month Free' ON or OFF, and then select [ Settings ].

When First Month Free is applied

If you have already created a plan
Applied from the 1st of the month following the month you turned the 'First Month Free' setting ON or OFF.

If you are applying for a new plan
Applied from the moment the plan is published after passing the review (e.g., if a plan is published on October 15th, those who join on that day will be free only for the month of October. The regular fee will apply from November onwards).
