About Support Features
As of November 20, 2024, "Support" has been renamed to "Tips".
note provides a "Creator Support Feature" that allows you to financially support (support) a creator's activities. When readers find a creator's article appealing, they can pay money as compensation for that article. You can choose to pay 100 yen, 500 yen, or a custom amount. Creators can also optionally send a thank-you message to users who have supported them.
This creator support feature can be toggled on or off from Account Settings. Note that the creator support feature is turned on by default.
Click your profile image in the top right of the screen and select "Account Settings".
Click the switch button for "Accept payments using the support feature" under "User Settings" to toggle support acceptance on or off. Please ensure the switch button is green if you wish to accept support.
Please note that even if the creator support feature is turned on, you cannot receive support unless you have published at least one article. For more details on how to use the creator support feature, please also see here.
