You can now have back-and-forth conversations with the "note AI Assistant" in the editor!

The "note AI Assistant" was equipped with Google's Gemini this past February, but previously only allowed for a single exchange of consultation. Starting now, you can have back-and-forth conversations, allowing you to dig deeper into AI responses or ask for alternative suggestions, making it easier to develop your ideas more flexibly. Please try using it as a sounding board when writing your notes!

How to use

1) Open the new post screen on note
2) Open the menu from the "+" button in the body input area and select "AI Assistant"

Alternatively, click the AI icon on the left sidebar

3) Enter what you would like to ask the AI and press "OK"

4) If you have further requests or questions for the AI, enter them additionally and press "OK"

You can also use the AI Assistant on text you have already entered. In that case, select the part you want to consult about and click "AI" from the menu bar to start a conversation.

How to consult with the AI Assistant

For those who are thinking, "I don't know what to ask the AI" or "I have something I want to ask, but how should I phrase it?", here are some tips.

When you haven't decided on an article theme

If you ask the AI Assistant, "I can't think of a theme. Please ask me a few questions to help me recall my interests, hobbies, and experiences," it will ask you various questions. By answering the questions, you can narrow down what you want to write about together with the AI.

When you can't decide on a title or structure

By asking the AI Assistant, "Think of some title ideas that would make people want to read it" or "Think of an interesting angle for the structure," and continuing the exchange, you can adjust the outline and tone of your article.

When you've started writing an article but can't seem to finish it

If you ask the AI Assistant, "I want to finish this draft article, so please check the overall flow, structure, and expression, and provide comprehensive advice on missing points such as supplementary information, examples, and summaries. In particular, please let me know if you have any suggestions for additional information to deepen reader understanding or structural changes to make it easier to read," and paste your draft, it will guide you to complete the article.
