Movie [Godzilla Minus One/Minus Color]
<<Monochrome surpasses color>>
I went to see the movie [Godzilla Minus One/Minus Color].
(Watching the movie from an NLP perspective)
It was incredibly good!!
The [Godzilla Minus One] I watched at the end of the year
was a beautiful color film,
but the Godzilla released additionally on January 12th
was, to my surprise, monochrome (Godzilla Minus One/Minus Color).
It is the 70th anniversary of Godzilla's birth.
The original Godzilla from 70 years ago
was in monochrome, so perhaps this is an homage to that.
Even so, this monochrome version
has a much bigger impact than I expected!
Before watching it, I thought that based on the color version I saw at the end of the year,
my imagination might convert the monochrome images
into color within my brain, but
the images remained monochrome,
and in fact, because I was watching it in monochrome,
my brain directed its ability to process color data toward the finer details,
making me feel that the impression of this work was truly extraordinary.
And the story is also good.
It is the same content as the previous version,
but I felt more emotionally connected to the monochrome version than the color one.
As it neared the end, I couldn't stop the tears...
As a benefit of watching it a second time,
I noticed several foreshadowings for the next work
that I hadn't realized before...
If there is a next installment, I wonder what will happen?
In any case,
I highly recommend the monochrome version!!
I think the recent progress in VR technology
is also amazing,
but surprisingly,
our sensibilities might not be that simple.
Please, by all means, compare it with the color version.
I thought you would surely enjoy both.
Since I watched the previous work (color version) in Dolby Cinema,
the effect that sound has on us,
not just the visuals, is also interesting.
NLP focuses on the five senses.
Since it is interesting not only in terms of visuals but also sound,
I will save that for another occasion...
