To those of us caught up in the daily grind.
The usual morning.
Boiling water, opening the curtains, washing your face.
In the midst of these repeating days, suddenly,
“Is this really okay?”
there are times when you hear that voice inside your heart.
It’s not that you’re looking for change, but
somehow, it feels like something is spilling over.
You’re trying your best, yet you feel tired somewhere deep down.
In that way,
“Nothing is particularly wrong, yet it’s painful.”
Many people who carry that voice come to me for sessions.
It’s not that you’re so unwell you can’t get up, nor are you sick.
However, your body feels heavy. Your sleep is shallow. Your breathing is shallow.
You feel somewhat out of sorts, and your heart can’t keep up.
There is something that cannot be put into words.
What is needed at such times,
I believe, is not to add something new,
but perhaps to remember what is already there.
When we listen carefully to the voice of the body,
we can, very quietly but surely,
“return to our daily lives once more.”
It is less about gaining something special,
and more about remembering the place where you can say “I’m home.”
On the way home after a session,
the sky might look unusually beautiful,
or the path you always take might feel strangely nostalgic.
Rather than “having changed,”
it might be closer to the feeling of “having returned.”
—
In truth, it may be that we are deeply healed by the things in our everyday lives:
the scent of freshly brewed tea, the smell of freshly cooked rice,
someone’s laughter, the sound of birds, the wind on a night road.
Healing is something that is already there.
It is something that exists within you, too.
Busy days.
But if you ever feel like stopping for a moment,
I want you to remember those things in your daily life, one by one.
If you ever want to touch the “softness” within yourself again.
Not to try harder, but to make life easier to live.
Please, take some time now and then to gently feel your own breath, your body, and your heart.
And, even if it’s not a special day,
if I can be a place where you can say “I’m home” on an ordinary day,
that would truly be a joy for me as well.
Thank you for reading until the end.
May this day, too, be filled with peaceful moments.
