This time, I will write an article to enter the following contest.
It is a project where you create AI illustrations themed around 'things related to Japan' and post them on note.

I have done this before, but it is extremely difficult because the AI just won't create things unique to Japanese culture or objects...
I remember trying to get it to make a kotatsu, and after dozens of attempts at trial and error with the prompt, it still didn't understand at all, and I kept thinking, 'No, that's not it!'

And I learned about this contest because of the following article by kara.

First, I tried brainstorming ideas for 'speaking of Japan'.

Since I wrote an article like the one below the other day, I would like to make this an article where I test how changing the text reflects in the images, rather than just posting the works.

I included all the words that came up during the brainstorming for 'speaking of Japan' earlier.

The following 4 images were created.
Perhaps the things I chose were easy to create, as I managed to get something close to my image on the first try.
As I wrote at the beginning, I remembered having a hard time expressing unique Japanese culture with AI images, so I thought it would be difficult to get what I wanted this time too.

However, the era doesn't look very modern, so I would like to improve that aspect.

I wanted to make the style of the kimonos more gorgeous and modern, so I added to the instructions.

It feels like it became a little more gorgeous and vivid, but it is still far from the modern image, so this is an area I want to continue to improve.

Earlier, one of the four images came out as a realistic photo, so I added "anime style" to the end of the prompt.
Also, since it wasn't really looking modern, I tried specifying the era by adding "modern" before "in Japan" to influence the entire image.

As a result, the following four images were created.
Overall, it became quite modern, and the kimonos also became quite glittering, getting much closer to the image I originally wanted to create, so I would like to consider this complete for now.

I will choose my favorite one from the four images finally created above.

I still feel that the man's kimono doesn't quite look modern, but the woman's kimono has become glittering and gorgeous.
The composition of the castle, fireworks, and people is also quite nice.
