I want to cherish the things that don't seem like a big deal
❝Things that bother you slightly are messages of some kind❞
Aren't there things around you, or things about your own body or mind,
that you feel vaguely concerned about?
When you are consciously bothered by something, you can deal with it right away,
so it's easy to solve, but
I often have moments where I feel like something is strangely calling out to me.
I often have moments like that.
My sons were coming home, so I opened the closet to get the hot water bottles ready.
Next to the basket with the hot water bottles,
there was another basket with towels in it,
and for some reason, it caught my attention, so I took it out.
And there, one of my favorite socks was inside!
They are warm and very comfortable socks, but
no matter how many times I looked in the drawer, I could only find one,
so I thought it was time to say goodbye to them.
Why on earth was it in a place like that???
I felt like the pair of socks, now reunited, was saying to me, 'You finally found me.'
It's the same with my own body.
Even if it doesn't hurt or itch, sometimes when I touch it,
I realize it's stiff.
At times like that, I stroke myself here and there to soothe it.
When it comes to the mind, it's usually when I'm not getting enough rest.
When I feel restless or uneasy,
I first look up and take a few deep breaths, then
I stare into the distance and zone out for even just a minute.
This makes me feel much clearer.
Even if you think it's not a big deal,
things that bother you slightly are signals from someone or something.
Even if it's an object or a situation,
when I think of it as sending me a signal,
it somehow becomes endearing.😊

Today is Monday. May it be a day of receiving.💖
