[Marketing Basics] "Customer Photos" Attract Customers.
Photos of a "lively drinking party" posted on the wall of an izakaya.
Photos of "I caught a big one!" posted on a board at a fishing tackle shop.
Photos of "○○ Cup Tournament Winners" posted on the bulletin board of a golf course clubhouse.
What kind of effect does it have when you post photos like this, where the customers are the stars, in your shop?
First, it conveys a message from the shop: "Our shop is supported by all of you."
It says, "It is precisely because we have such happy, smiling customers that we find our work rewarding and can keep the shop running."
Furthermore, photos of customers having fun also serve to promote the shop's track record.
From the customers' perspective, they genuinely feel happy that you are displaying their photos.
At the same time, they feel a greater sense of familiarity with the shop.
Also, when new customers see them, they get a concrete image of what it's like to use the shop.
It is just a matter of taking photos of the customers who come in and displaying them, but it becomes a topic of conversation among customers, and they start wanting their own photos posted too.
From here, the number of photos will continue to grow.
In other words, it means the number of regular customers at your shop is increasing.
