A World Where "Sincerely" is "K✊"
Hello.
Everyone, do you write letters?
I hardly ever write them.
So, when I'm forced to write one, I search for "how to write a letter" on the internet before I start.
That's because letters have so many unknown rules.
Seasonal greetings and opening and closing salutations, concepts I've never cared about in daily conversation, must be considered in letters.
Also, as a true modern person, I basically communicate with people via phone or chat, and I'm the kind of person who doesn't even send New Year's cards, just handling it via chat.
Because of that, I can never remember the "rules of letter writing."
But I think that's partly unavoidable.
I mean, aren't letters stiff?
Doesn't it hurt your chest?
↑Opinion of MOROHA
You don't like things being stiff, right?
So, I'll make it more approachable.
Me.
"Sincerely" becomes "K✊"
First, to get rid of the stiffness that so-called "letters" have, let's stop using kanji.
The famous closing salutation for a letter, "Sincerely".
I've never seen it used outside of letters, so it might actually be a shy personality.
From today on, you're "K✊" too!
It's become cheerful all of a sudden, hasn't it?
Someone who calls themselves "K✊" couldn't possibly be shy.
They're definitelythe type to go wild at a night pool, right?
I don't think we could be friends.
Also, if I imagine a letter from a government office or some other serious place ending with "K✊", I would laugh uncontrollably.
Because I can smell the end of the world.
But that means I'm the one wishing for such a world.
I'm sick and tired of all the stuffiness.
It'll be hard to handwrite "✊", but let's all do our best.
Since the way you write that "✊" will reveal the writer's personality and friendliness, I'm sure a "✊ Writing Course" will be offered by U-Can, just like those "Ballpoint Pen Penmanship Courses".✊ Writing Course.
If you're not confident in your "✊", you should definitely enroll.
"Haikei" becomes "hiK"
Since "Keigu" has evolved, naturally "Haikei", which is famous for being written as the opening greeting of a letter, has to evolve too, right?
Otherwise, you'll be left behind by Mr./Ms. "K✊".
While I was provoking them like that, "Haikei" itself started saying, "From now on, I'll call myself 'hiK'".
It sounds like a musical note.
If you heard a high note at the beginning of a letter, it would be so out of place it would be funny.
Later, I'll make sure to clear it with Angela Aki and have her change the song title to "Letter ~hiK to You at Fifteen~".
With this, the dawn of a new letter culture has begun, starting with "hik" and ending with "K✊"!!!
That was "Let's Make Letters More Approachable".
Since we succeeded in making the opening and closing words more friendly this time, from next time on, I'd like to take a scalpel of reform to the content as well.
Well then, I look forward to the day I can meet you all again.
K✊
