I create money gift envelopes and accessories using a technique called "paper quilling," which involves rolling thin, long strips of paper to make various items.
About my work
For money gift envelopes, I mainly produce "Displayable Money Gift Envelopes," which allow you to display a photo horizontally after receiving them, and "Japanese Modern Money Gift Envelopes," which are well-regarded for their beautiful color combinations.
My accessories are sold as pieces called "Windmill," which are made using paper.
They are sold only at events.
I strive to create works that make people think, "That's beautiful to look at!"

What is Paper Quilling?
~What is Paper Quilling?~
Quilling (also known as paper filigree or coiling) is said to have originated around the 15th to 16th centuries, when nuns in churches in France and Italy used paper to beautifully decorate religious items. It is also said that it came to be called "quilling" because they used bird feathers (quills) as the core. (There are various theories.)
Today, it is widely loved as a hobby in the United States, Europe, and elsewhere.
