When I started living alone, my sister gave me a frying pan, pots, and a handwritten recipe notebook together.

There were many sticky notes attached, with little details written like 'when you're tired,' 'when it's late at night,' and 'when your wallet is light.'

Since we didn't have a mother, she did all the housework and spoiled me, the youngest, quite a lot.

Today, I returned to my parents' house for the first time in a while, and after cleaning, doing laundry, and scrubbing the bath, I cooked my sister's dishes for my father and brother.

When they both started saying it tasted like Mom's, no, it tasted like Sister's, I put on a smug face and declared, 'It's a bit cheesy, but I've inherited the taste of this house,' and my father suddenly burst into tears, and my brother followed suit.

We decorated the all-male household with flowers, and the faces in the photos of my mother and sister looked a little troubled, beyond just being dumbfounded.

Since 'how to make her' was also written at the end of the notebook, I think I'll put it into practice again starting tomorrow.
