My daughter got married yesterday.
She was my wife's child from a previous marriage (8 years old at the time), but at first, she didn't warm up to me at all, and I think she might have hated me lol
When my daughter was in high school, she was taken to the hospital after a traffic accident.
I left work early and went to the hospital, but they said it was a rural hospital and they didn't have any blood in stock because they had performed surgery earlier that day.
So, I'm type O and my daughter is type O. I blurted out like in a drama, 'Please use my blood, I am her father.'
And then, they really drew it without hesitation lol
I heard later that they drew about 1500ml.
Then, blood arrived later, the surgery finished safely, I was dizzy, my wife was lightheaded, my daughter was fast asleep, and in the end, my wife and I were hospitalized for the night too lol
And yesterday, in her bride's speech, my daughter said she was happy that I had donated blood at that time, that I had raised her as my own daughter, and that we were even blood-related.
I ended up crying my eyes out lol
It's just me and my wife from today, but when I think about it, this is the first time we've lived alone together since we got married.
Tomorrow, we're going on our first date just the two of us.
That was the rambling of a drunkard, sorry for the long post lol

I'm a doctor, but in modern times, there's no such thing as drawing blood and transfusing it directly.
What country is this story from?

Eh, really?
Even in an emergency?

Thanks~
Thinking about it now, it was just the folly of youth lol

This was over 10 years ago in a certain prefecture in Tohoku, you know?
I don't know if they transfused it directly, but they drew it into something like a bag used for IV drips.

Thanks~
My son-in-law is such a good young man, and when I was first introduced to him, I thought, 'If it's this guy, then yes!'
I never told my daughter or anyone else that, though lol

My child is only 3, but if I were given a speech like that, I'd be bawling.
