No. 653 The story I will introduce this time

There was a video based on this story, so I will introduce it as well.
Regarding the posting date

I remembered a story that made me angry about Eho-maki (lucky direction sushi rolls).
Previously, when I participated in an all-you-can-eat seafood sushi tour, they brought out a huge thick sushi roll for each person at the beginning and said, "First, please eat this thick roll, and after that, you are welcome to eat as much sushi as you like from that counter over there."
It was a size that would make even an average adult male full if he ate one, and the contents were only dried gourd strips, egg omelet, cucumber, and fish flakes.
There was nothing seafood-like about it at all.
When the customers started making a fuss, saying it was a scam, they said, "If you want to skip the thick roll, you can start from over there for an additional fee of 3,000 yen," but only a few people reluctantly agreed.
I thought, this really needs to be punished, so I, who hold the record of 355 bowls in a Wanko Soba competition and 185 plates in a sushi eating competition, and have the experience of narrowly losing in a serious battle with a certain famous competitive eater, started my engine at full throttle.
In the heavy atmosphere, I said "Itadakimasu!" and finished the thick roll in less than a minute.
"Well then, I'll move over there~" I said, and went to the counter.
At this point, the organizer was still grinning, thinking, "Since he ate one thick roll, he won't eat that much."
"Can I eat anything and as much as I want?"
"Yes, please have anything."
"Will you add more if the toppings run out?"
"Yes, yes (laughs). If we run out, I'll go buy some at the market (laughs)."
After confirming this in a loud voice, I started with "Then, sea urchin and fatty tuna," and counted up to 300 pieces.
When I made them replace the wooden box of sea urchin twice, they said, "I'm sorry, we are out of stock now," so I pressed them, saying, "You said you would go to the market if you ran out, didn't you? Are you lying!?" and they reluctantly replaced it.
I think I ate 80 pieces of sea urchin alone.
The other people were enjoying it as spectators, and when the organizer said in the middle, "Customer, we will refund all your money, so please forgive us," they supported me, saying things like, "That's cowardly!"
After returning home, I ruined my stomach and was hospitalized for about two days.

After a while, a note was added to the pamphlet saying, "You will be asked to eat one thick roll first," and after a while, when I looked again, the tour itself had disappeared.
That really is a scam.

I know that tour. I saw it on TV.
It's not so much a scam, but it feels sneaky.

I'm surprised it was even covered on TV.
According to experts, it's apparently just barely safe, but I can't accept that.

The fact that you lost in a real battle against a competitive eater is so real lol

Those guys aren't human lol
I realized painfully that I'm just a big eater, while those people are fighters.
I heard they always fight at about 80% capacity because if they go over their limit, they end up like me, ruining their digestive system and ending up in the hospital, so I knew I could never win.

Oh my, how wonderful... I want to marry you
How much do you spend on food?
I guess it depends on whether you cook for yourself or eat out

I wrote it half as a joke, but I'm kind of blushing lol

I'm normal most of the time.
I can just eat a lot when the situation calls for it.
Well, even so, 3 servings of curry rice is easy for me.
It costs money, so I cook for myself.
Plus, I grow vegetables in my garden.
Also, there's the sea within walking distance, so I catch and eat fish too.
I do buy meat, though.

I don't know if it's because I'm drinking, but I've got tears in my eyes lol
