Yesterday, while I was riding the Toei Shinjuku Line for work, an old lady stood in front of me, so I quickly and casually gave up my seat.

It's just awkward for both of us to be standing there with an empty seat in front of us, arguing back and forth.

It was the first time I'd ever seen an old lady turn bright red and get shy.
