I didn't know where to write this, but it was quite shocking to me, so I'm writing it here.

I decided to have an offline meetup with four people I met in a certain online game.

The game is basically played in groups of four.

After we had been clearing dungeons together and chatting for over a year and a half since meeting in-game, we realized we all lived nearby and decided to meet up!

In the game, there are roles:
Tank (Shield role. Takes all enemy attacks)
Attacker (Someone who just keeps attacking)
Healer (Recovery role. Often heals the tank on the front lines)
I was a healer, and because of our roles, I was close with the tank.

I often complained to the tank and went to dungeons with them.

On the day of the meetup, the tank contacted us saying they couldn't get away from work and would be late!

They told us to go ahead, so the two attackers (male and female) and I went into the restaurant.

Just as we were getting excited talking about the game, two drunk host-like guys from the next room barged in and started bothering me and the female attacker (mostly the female attacker, since she's cute).

At first, we gently refused, but perhaps emboldened by the alcohol, they started bothering us loudly, hugging us, and trying to kiss us.

The male attacker tried to stop them, and the staff who heard the commotion rushed over to stop them, but they wouldn't stop at all, and it was really scary.

Just then, a large person loomed into the room.

It was the tank. With a large build that was no less impressive than their in-game character, they immediately stepped between us, easily lifted one of the hosts, and threw him out of the restaurant.

The other one was standing there blankly, but he came to his senses and ran out.

Then the tank came back, grinned, and said, 'Let's go to the next place for a drink!' and we went to the next place just like that.

The tank talked cheerfully, and the male attacker also did their best to keep the mood up, so the female attacker and I were able to enjoy our drinks again at the second place.

So, the fact that we were bothered, that the tank was a tank in real life too, and that I married that tank is the whole point of the thread title.
