2026.3.6 Yamamoto and Otani
I think this is a common experience for people working night shifts, but
my sense of dates is completely bugged now.
I'm writing this just past midnight on March 7th, but I'm submitting it for March 6th, Smash Brothers.
Yeeeeah (YAMAGUCHI)
Samurai Japan is too strong, lol
Yamamoto's no-hitter was great,
and Otani's grand slam was also the best...
And today's tweets from =LOVE's "Yamamoto" and "Otani" are seriously the best, so
I really want you to see them...

Once again, I think idols are amazing.
Watching cute girls gives me the power to think I can live through tomorrow too.
Now, let's get to today's song.Even though I can't tell today from tomorrow anymore.
Seishun "Subliminal" - =LOVE
A song I've always wanted to introduce someday.Like SHOHEI's hit that you know is a home run the moment he swings, this is a song I thought was a "god-tier track" the moment I heard it.
With its sparkling melody, straightforward lyrics, and the determination and feelings of the members on stage when you hear it live, every time I listen to it, I'm reminded that "=LOVE is truly the best."
It's also impressive how it depicts a girl's feelings of love and her sparkling school life while drawing parallels to the subliminal effect. While not everything in this song overlaps with my own experiences, I can really empathize with those emotions, and I thought it's rare to find a song that expresses these feelings so beautifully.
I think there are times when you realize things too late, and it's also a good point that the girl in this song seems to still have some possibilities left.
Furthermore, this song can be seen as overlapping with the story of Hitomi Takamatsu's return.
When she told Producer Sashihara about her feelings at the time she was considering returning,
he replied, "Then I'll start writing the lyrics assuming Hitomi is in it."
Production started from that background, and Hitomi herself, who listened to the demo alone while recuperating, said,
"The moment I heard this song, I thought I could stand on stage again."
Knowing episodes like that makes this song even more than just a song.
I think it's an amazing song that has the power to move someone's life forward.
Including the timing of its release,
I think it's a song that fit together like a miracle.
The subsequent rapid progress of =LOVE is, as you all know.
So today,
I introduced a song by the national idol =LOVE.
Their new song "Gekiyaku Chuudoku" is also recommended!
