I am joining the "Decluttering Club"
Hello! Thank you as always.
This is Matsumura.
Lately, I've been able to post without too much of a gap (by my own standards). I'm happy about that.
Actually, I'm just bit-by-bit uploading things I had left unfinished, but I suppose you could say I've regained the energy and motivation to finish them. I also feel like work has calmed down a bit (or so I think).
Where there's a will, there's a way. If you do it, you can do it!
With that momentum, although it's sudden, I've decided to join the "Decluttering Club."
The "Decluttering Club" is this project here.
So, I will submit my application to join right away.

・What inspired you to join the Decluttering Club:
Seeing the article by someone I follow (Awai Yuki-san).
Come to think of it, perhaps because it's gotten warmer, the smell around the water areas is bothering me. There's a faint sewage smell coming from the kitchen, the washing machine pan, and the bathroom drain...
I usually don't do anything until it gets seriously bad, but I thought if I declared "I'll do it!", I might actually do it, so I've pushed myself into a corner.
・What you want to experience by decluttering:
I want to stop pretending I don't see the drains and be able to cook and bathe comfortably!
・What are you bad at when it comes to decluttering? (Putting things back, discarding, cleaning, etc.):
Above all else, I am bad at cleaning water areas. I hate touching them, so I leave them alone. I leave them alone, dirt accumulates, I leave them alone. This is the true negative spiral.
I'm actually quite good at putting things back and discarding items (ahem).
・The place you most want to declutter/clean this time:
The bathroom! I want to make it sparkling clean with all my might. And then I want to keep it sparkling.
・What are you currently having trouble with at home regarding decluttering, or which places are problematic:
The bathroom!
In addition, I've started to vaguely feel that the storage spaces throughout the house (shoe cabinet, kitchen shelves, closets) are "getting cluttered. Dust is piling up, too." So, I want to do a round of discarding and deep cleaning for the summer.
・I'd be happy if it looked like this in one month:
It would be perfect if I could finish the deep cleaning of the water areas and establish a habit of keeping them clean.
Also, I'd love to be able to open my closet and be filled with admiration.
I feel like the main focus might be cleaning rather than decluttering, but I would be happy if you could overlook that. I have the enthusiasm, at least...!
Daily updates are difficult, but I would like to write a report at the end of the month.
The deadline for joining is May 30th, so I wonder if I'll make it in time.
This is my first time participating in a project like this, so I'm nervous inside, but to all the club members, I would be happy if we could work hard together.
