Watching 'Sister Act'
I watched the musical 'Sister Act' at the Meijiza Theatre.

There are some spoilers ahead.

It was a super happy ending, which I love.
It was the kind that brings tears and laughter at the same time.
I was tearing up steadily throughout the second half.
From the moment the young novice nun, a girl who had lived her whole life suppressing all her own desires, said
'I don't want to!'
for the first time in her life, I couldn't stop crying.
The show was full of highlights, but that scene left the biggest impression on me.
If you don't like something, say you don't like it!
If you want to do something, do it!
Aren't we all living our lives suppressing such simple emotions for various reasons?
Saying it's for someone else's sake, or blaming something else...
Are you unconsciously locking away what you truly want to do?
Are you shutting yourself away in a narrow world like a convent?
This musical taught me to have the courage to jump into a new world.
'I don't want to!'
I'm going to use that phrase a lot from now on, too.

I was so moved and hungry, so I had Sanuki udon on the way home.
