I lost my dreams after becoming obsessed with SNS likes. I'm starting a NOTE anyway.
Please, listen to me for a second.
In the past, I was running an SNS and blog operation and,
I was able to earn about 10,000 yen a month,
but I burned out after a year and buried it in the dark.
If you're wondering how it ended,
it was the "burned out after becoming obsessed with likes" route.
……Scary, right?
■ At first, I genuinely loved writing
At first, it was really simple, you know.
1. "Work is tough. I want to live doing what I love."
2. "I'm good at writing, so it would be amazing if I could earn money by writing!"
3. "But as a writer, I have to worry about the client's requests, and I can't write freely..."
4. "Then, why not just create my own blog and write? I'll do SNS too!"
At this point, I was completely the protagonist chasing a dream.
I was incredibly excited, and
I was burning with motivation.

■ 3 months later, I became a slave to likes
Every day, I pushed forward recklessly.
I studied on YouTube,
read blogs thoroughly,
and spent money on consultants and how-to books.
I learned about SEO and blog structure,
On X,
👉 Never missing a like or comment as a greeting
👉 Working hard to create easy-to-read images on Canva...
I hate to say it myself, but
I was trying really hard (lol)
And,
About 3 months later.
Just a little bit,
some articles started getting read.
On X,
I started having more followers than people I follow.
That's when
I started thinking, "Wait, maybe I can actually do this."
And then.
Before I knew it.
I had become a slave to social media... (Why?)

The first thing I did in the morning was
"checking notifications" instead of "brushing my teeth"
My morning ritual was
"checking the number of likes"
Checking follower counts
Checking blog traffic
Checking earnings
A wide-eyed monitor from the moment I wake up.
■ Daily life, collapsed
So, what happens from there?
Train → Open X
At work → Open X
Restroom → Of course, open X
Open X everywhere. Always open.
Even though nothing about the posts has changed since a moment ago,
Why do I open it again!!!
I'm scrolling to refresh like 50 times a day
I'm totally a "slave to notifications" lol

■ Emotional roller coaster
And, along with the likes,
the wild swings in my emotions were tough.
Likes increase →
👉 "Happy (Am I a genius?!)"
Doesn't grow →
👉 "I'm nothing..."
The emotional range is way too extreme lol
Having my life swayed by just a few dozen likes,
thinking about it now, it's kind of funny...
Though I haven't grown enough to actually think that.
Anyway,
I was so obsessed that it was interfering with my daily life.

■ Creativity, dead
And as a result,
“What I want to write” vanished.
What comes out instead is
“Will this go viral?”
👉100% impure thoughts now
I'm no longer
a creator, but a “like hunter”
“I love writing, so I want to make it my job.”
“I want to earn money doing what I love.”
Where did those goals disappear to???
■ And then, a sudden end
I lived like that for about a year and a half.
One day,
I got sick and stopped posting for a week.
And when I opened my computer after I recovered,
I thought.
“Huh... I don't feel like doing this.”
Even though I was so obsessed with it,
👉 Suddenly zero motivation
👉 Likes, followers, I don't care anymore
Suddenly,it just ended, like that.

It's honestly a mystery,
I just didn't want to look at SNS anymore, so I deleted everything.
My blog is still there, but,
I haven't updated it in years.
■ And now (a woman who never learns)
So, now.
I'm trying to start NOTE, never learning my lesson.
...Where did my ability to learn go???
But this time for sure!!
👉 Go back to basics and enjoy writing
👉 Someday I want to make a living from writing
Welcome back, dream!!
Because I,
👉 Love writing!
👉 It's the only thing I'm good at!
👉 After all, I really want to do it!!
(Late-night tension MAX)
■ But to be honest
I'm still totally worried about "likes" and "follower counts"... (lol)
I get restless after posting, and,
I'm already opening NOTE over and over again.
Yeah, that red notification.

In my heart, it's like this.
👉 "Hey, everyone, my writing is interesting, right???"
👉 "Right??? Right???"
I'm the type with a strong need for approval...
■ Rewriting my purpose to keep writing on NOTE
So, I thought about how to keep writing on NOTE.
"What should my goal be so I don't become a slave to likes?"
First of all,
"Not caring about likes" is impossible (I give up easily lol)
"Not making likes my number one goal"
I'll go with this.
■ Then what will I write for?
I will write for myself.
Until now, it was the complete opposite.
👉 "Will people read this?"
👉 "Will this be useful?"
👉 "Will I get likes?"
Everything was focused 'outward'.
I was imposing expectations on others on my own,
and getting tired on my own.
So, I,
will write "for myself"!!!
This NOTE is,
a place for me to organize the things I've struggled with my whole life.
But it actually exists.
(I have so many worries that I never run out of material, lol)
・What I am anxious about
・What kind of conclusion I reached
By taking this,
and organizing it into an easy-to-read format.
Just by doing that,
👉 I can relearn it myself
👉 I can look back on it when I'm worried about the same thing again
It naturally becomes an 'asset for myself'.

On top of that,
If it reaches people with the same way of thinking
and resonates with them saying 'I get it...', I'd be incredibly happy
And even for people with a different type,
if they can laugh and think 'what an interesting woman,' that would also make me happy
For now, isn't that enough?

■ What comes after that
And, if I keep doing this,
👉 My thoughts will be organized more and more
👉 Articles will accumulate as assets
👉 My expression will also be polished
My level will naturally rise (hopefully)
As a result,
a day might come when many people see my articles.
When I reach that level, surely,
I am writing sentences that people would think, 'I'd pay to read this.'
Maybe this is the order.
■ My NOTE goals
1. First, write for 'myself'
2. Make the act of writing and posting articles an asset in itself
This should (hopefully) help me avoid the 'like slave' route.
Will I be okay???
I have my anxieties, but...
Still,
I'll give it a try for now.
If you feel like cheering me on,
please give me a like!!!!(Hey!)
