Embers of the Frozen Forest
A snowy forest wrapped in silence
A beautiful spirit standing deep within
Weaving through the stillness of the silver world
Her platinum hair flows like moonlight filtering through
There are no footprints where she walks
Only diamond-dust snow dancing into the air
A robe of thin ice tied with an indigo sash
It is a single teardrop woven by the winter night
Even the cold wind, when it touches her fingertips
Transforms into a gentle breath
The golden glow of an old cabin shining behind her
It is the final heat that the harsh winter keeps hidden
The ice spirit, who should know nothing of warmth
What is reflected in her eyes when she gazes at that light?
“It is not that winter will never end,
it is simply sleeping deep, deep down to wait for spring.”
As she gently holds out her hand
The twinkling light becomes stardust, clearing the darkness
And casts a gentle magic upon the frozen world
