The final exhibition. And the countdown to graduation begins.
Saturday. The biennial exhibition was held at the children's elementary school.
The gymnasium displayed works from all students and collaborative projects by grade level. The zone featuring light-based works and videos of the creative process were quite interesting.
Sixth-grade students, their teachers, and the art teachers were in charge of setting up the venue. My eldest daughter was on the exhibition executive committee and helped create signs for the school gate and flyers.

After checking in at the reception, we headed to the venue.
Works overflowing with the children's personalities were lined up in each corner. I approached the works.
"Hello! I'm going to explain the works now, would you like to listen?"
This exhibition features kid guides.
Sixth graders are in charge of each corner, explaining to visitors how the works were made and what is interesting about them.
We went to see it during the time my eldest daughter's class was on duty. Some children bowed politely, some got a little bored and went to play in the next corner, and others went around talking to every visitor they could find to give explanations—it was quite varied.
My eldest daughter was guiding while smiling right beneath her younger brother's work.
We asked a few of them to guide us and enjoyed the communication.

The chime for the end of the guide session rang.
…Everyone has grown up so much.
I am truly happy to see your reliable figures as you confidently continue your explanations, saying, 'Leave this to us.'
I have been watching over my eldest daughter's classmates all this time. Half of them are going to different junior high schools, so that means… let's see, only three more times… three times?
!!!!
Can I only see them three more times?
The day of the final open class,
the day of the final reading session for the graduation celebration, and
the graduation ceremony.
A little while ago, my eldest daughter was writing countdown cards. She said they would use them starting 30 days before, for the 30 students in the class. That will be soon, too.
The final reading session…
I wonder if I'll be able to read properly.
I wonder if it's some kind of huge responsibility.
This is definitely going to be a tear-jerker.
W-what should I do...
What am I supposed to do?
Click here for the previous stories about my eldest daughter's class.
These are the children I have been watching over.
Please, take a look.
Thank you for reading today as well.
<What's on my mind today>
・I'm troubled by how easily I cry
・Actually, I'm quite sentimental
