Happy Writing Marathon #51
If you were to represent yourself with a color, what color would it be? And why?
If I were to represent myself with a color, it would be rainbow-colored.
That does not mean I have multiple personalities.
When I get obsessed with something, I pour my passion into it, even sacrificing sleep.
……The 'crimson' of passion.
Even when I am struggling, I want to be a cheerful version of myself for others.
I don't show my weaknesses on the surface.
……The 'orange' of cheerfulness.
I want to be curious about many things and enjoy them.
……The 'yellow' of curiosity.
I dislike conflict and value a sense of camaraderie.
I wish for calm and peaceful human relationships.
……The 'green' of peace.
I want to be kind to others and always be sincere.
……The 'blue' of sincerity.
In truth, I want people to notice.
The loneliness of working hard for someone else.
……The 'indigo' of loneliness.
When my medication doesn't work, I can't move, and I become an unstable person with a chaotic mind and body.
……The 'purple' of anxiety.
All of that is my color.
I am a rainbow color.
Bright emotions, suffering, weakness, and strength—all of it combined makes up the existence that is 'me'.
Therefore, what is a rainbow color?
It is 'a sense of self that cannot be expressed by just one thing'.
And I think a rainbow is a symbol of hope.
To me, hope is possibility.
That is precisely why I want to be myself, true to my own heart.
And if a version of me like that could become someone's hope...
How wonderful that would be...
