Toda-Q Co., Ltd. Northern Rich Curry Udon (2 Servings)

I didn't know Toda-Q made curry udon too.
Since it's Toda-Q, I have high expectations for this.
Oh, oh, oh!?
This is delicious! It's so good!
The noodles are chewy, flat noodles,
and they really make you think, 'These are perfect for curry udon.'
On top of that, maybe it's just because it's Toda-Q that I feel this way,
but I can feel a smoothness on the surface of the noodles similar to their cold noodles.
This, combined with the thickness of the soup, is very pleasant.
The soup is also wonderful.
It's not spicy, so it's easy for me to eat.
I also like that it's not a spice-forward type.
Looking at the ingredients, there's no typical seafood dashi,
but rather onion and pork extract listed.
I suspect the sauce powder is doing a great job.
It's surprising that they managed to create a curry udon that suits Japanese tastes without using seafood dashi.
It's also a plus that you can make it in just one pot, so there's less cleanup.
