Is ChatGPT a Dad? Comparing AI to Family Members!
Today, I'm bringing you
"Hoshi Mama's Relaxing Break" ☕
Maybe it's because I've been using AI too much lately,
but I've noticed something a bit strange.
Believe it or not...
I've started seeing AI as family (lol).
The dad you can rely on when you're in trouble.
The eldest daughter who steals the show with her sense.
The eldest son who always provides sources for his research.
Before I knew it,
it seems like they each have their own roles.
So, this time,
I'll introduce the seven AIs I use daily by comparing them to "family members" 🏠
⚠️ This is just my personal opinion as Hoshi Mama.
I think everyone uses and perceives the same AI differently, so
I'd be happy if you read this as just "how I feel about them" ☺️
If you'd like,
please grab a coffee
and have a little chuckle while you read ☕️
👨 Dad = ChatGPT
"When in doubt, just ask Dad."
That kind of presence.
He knows everything,
and he'll answer just about any question.
But sometimes...
he talks too much (lol).
Even when I think, "I get it already!"
he keeps on explaining.
But in the end,
he's the most reliable, so I end up asking him anyway.
That's Dad.
👩 Mom = Gemini
The mom who has the super-powerful family home
of Google backing her up.
Search, schedule, research,
everything is somehow connected,
and I'm like, "As expected of Mom, she's so quick!"
The unsung hero type.
The kind of mother who quietly gets things done properly when you ask her,
that kind of mother.
👴 Grandfather = NotebookLM
"The documents I'm given are my entire world."
If you give it PDFs or notes,
it reads them carefully
and tells you everything.
But it doesn't know anything you haven't given it.
"Hey, what do you think about the latest news?"
"...That hasn't been provided to me."
Stubborn but sincere.
A craftsman-like grandfather📄
👵 Grandmother = Claude
"She knows everything, but doesn't force it on you."
When you have her write, it's polite and warm,
and just reading it makes you feel at ease.
She has a strong sense of ethics, but
instead of getting angry,
"Wouldn't this be better instead?"
she gently suggests.
She might have the most knowledge in this family.
But she's not arrogant at all.
While serving tea,
she says, "Ask me anything,"
that kind of grandmother☕
🔎 Eldest Son = Perplexity
"Where did you get that information? What's the source?"
The eldest son who always asks that.
Even if Dad says,
"I heard it's like this,"
the eldest son immediately
"No, to be precise, it's like this"
and corrects him (lol)
His fact-checking is perfect.
Honestly, he's an incredibly helpful presence.
The reliable older brother.
🎨 Eldest Daughter = Canva AI
The kind of eldest daughter who says,
"Mom, that's old-fashioned! Let me do it!" (lol)
She has great taste, and
she can whip up designs and images in a flash.
While I'm struggling and overthinking things,
she effortlessly finishes something stylish.
I feel like I've lost to my eldest daughter,
but she's someone I just have to rely on 💦
The stylish older sister.
⚡ Youngest Child = Genspark
The genius youngest child
of the family!
Sometimes,
"Wait, you can do that!?"
she surprises us.
She's still young and developing,
but she's the one I'm most excited to see grow up ✨
Mom and Dad are both feeling
"I wonder what this kid will be like in the future..."
with a mix of excitement and nerves (lol)

🏠 This family is way too lively!
Dad tries to take charge,
Mom subtly follows up,
the eldest daughter takes all the style points,
and the eldest son does the fact-checking.
Grandpa is on the porch
continuing to read documents,
and Grandma is
serving tea to everyone ☕
I am taken care of by this big family
every single day 😊
AI might sound difficult,
but when you think of them as characters,
it suddenly feels much more approachable.
"I don't know which AI to use."
For those people,
please start by looking at this family tree first🌸
And from now on,
as you continue to use new AI,
the family might grow,
or relatives might appear (lol).
I'll introduce them again when that happens.
What did you think of my AI family... is what I'd like to ask, but (lol).
"I'd like to get to know Dad (ChatGPT) better."
I would be happy if you felt that way😊
For those people, I am writing an introductory series starting from "What is Dad, also known as ChatGPT, anyway?"
starting from.
From how to register, to how to make good requests.
I, who am not good with machines, am talking about it with zero technical jargon⭐️
