[Comments welcome!!] Please tell me how you take a break
This is sudden, but I have a request!
Please tell me how you take a break in the comments section!!
What do you do to take a breather between childcare, housework, and your own creative activities?
Drinking coffee, reading magazines, looking back at photos of your children, etc... Anything goes.
Please let me know in the comments!
With that said, hello, I am the Papa-Mama Note Supporter.
I am currently active with the rather reckless ambition of
"Note for all parents"
.
As a result, I use all my spare time between my main job and childcare (including family time) for my creative activities, so I've recently felt that I'm not really getting any breaks.
Well, if you consider creative activities as a hobby, maybe this is a form of taking a break, but I'm also taking it quite seriously, so it feels a bit different...
How should I put it? I'd like something where I can forget everything and just immerse myself... I can't express it well, haha.
I thought about it a lot, but I couldn't come up with any good ideas, so I decided to ask all of you who are reading this.
It would be a huge help if you could tell me how you take a break.
I will definitely reply to every comment I receive 📩
Also, through this project (though it's not that big of a deal), I have a desire to try two-way communication with fellow parent Noters for the first time.
Actually, I've never had an experience like this, and I've always envied the famous Noters on Note and X who hold projects and interact with others...
I should have just participated honestly, but I felt a bit embarrassed and couldn't quite bring myself to jump in.
I was worried people might think things like, 'Who does he think he is, participating when his writing is so bad...'
But nothing will change if I keep doing that, right?
I believe that challenging myself with new things leads to growth. Especially with Note, there's nothing to lose, so I thought, if I'm too embarrassed to participate, I'll just start my own project!
That was part of what motivated me to take the plunge.
So, this is a project run by a pathetic person like me.
Some of you might be new to this kind of interaction, but please feel free to comment without hesitation!
I've written 90% of what I wanted to say in this article by now, but it wouldn't be fair to just ask for advice, so I'll introduce my few ways of taking a break first.
However, these are things I used to do before my children were born or before I started Note, and I haven't been able to do them much lately...
In this spirit, please keep telling me your ways of taking a break!
1. Watching the NBA
Actually, I'm a pretty hardcore NBA fan, and back when I was single, I used to watch games night after night. Even now, I subscribe to a plan that lets me watch all the games, and I watch whenever I can find a spare moment.
I love it so much that I've even gone to watch a game in person once.
However, because I love it so much, I get very focused when watching, so I don't want to talk while I'm watching...
It's quite unpopular with my wife and children...
2. Bar hopping
Yes, this is the #1 thing you can't do when you have a family, haha.
When I was single, I would wander into random bars, make friends with the staff and other customers, and drink all night long. (I mostly made friends with middle-aged men, not girls, haha.)
It was so much fun to make friends with people I wouldn't normally interact with and talk about all sorts of things, and before I knew it, it had become a habit...
That's enough about my ways of taking a break. Haha
Please tell us how you relax in the comments!
I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
