[Call for Collaborators] Please help with the Google Play open testing of our educational Android apps
Thank you for always reading my articles.
I am currently developing an educational Android app that can be used for children's learning, and I am preparing for its general release on Google Play.
I have decided to recruit people to help with the closed testing required to officially release the app on Google Play.
If you have an Android smartphone or tablet and are interested in education, ICT, or learning apps, I would be very happy if you could help.
Apps currently aiming for release
I am currently preparing to release the following two educational apps on Google Play.
"Kasa Master"

This is an app that allows users to enjoyably and repeatedly practice learning about volume, such as 'L, dL, and mL', which are studied in lower elementary school math.
I have designed it so that users can challenge themselves with problems while visually grasping the sense of volume.
"Strata Maker"

This is an app for learning about how strata are formed and how they overlap, which is studied in science, by operating it on the screen.
I created this with the goal of providing teaching materials that make it easier to understand the appearance of strata, which can be difficult to visualize from textbook diagrams alone.
Why is help with testing necessary?
To release a new Android app to the public on Google Play, it is necessary to conduct a closed test before release.
Therefore, I would like people who actually own Android devices to check things like:
"Does it start up properly?"
"Can it be operated without issues?"
"Is it easy to use as a learning app?"
I would like you to confirm these points.
I am not asking for any difficult tasks.
It would be a great help if you could just install the app and use it a little bit.
If,
"This part was hard to understand"
"It would be easier to use if it were like this"
"I wish there were a learning app like this"
If you have any feedback like this, I would like to use it for future improvements.
Who we are looking for
We are hoping for help from people like the following.
Those who have an Android smartphone or Android tablet
Those who can use Google Play
Those who can continue to participate in the test for about two weeks
Those who are interested in education, ICT, or learning apps
It is not limited to teachers.
We would appreciate help from a wide range of people, including parents, those interested in education, and those who want to try out learning apps.
To those who can help
If you can help, please apply via the Google Form below.please apply via the Google Form below.
👇 Closed Test Collaborator Application Form
In the form, you will be asked to enter the email address of the Google account you use on Google Play in order to register you as a closed tester in the Google Play Console.
The email address you provide will be used
only for registration for the Google Play closed test and for communication necessary for the test.
It will not be used for any other purpose.
Also, please do not write your email address in the public comment section of note.
Process after application
After you apply via the Google Form, I will register you as a closed tester on Google Play.
Once registration is complete, I will provide you with the Google Play test participation URL.
You will need to open that URL using the Google account you entered in the form to complete the participation process for the test.
After that, please install the app from Google Play and try it out.
During the test period, it would be a great help if you could remain in the program without opting out.
For those who cooperate
As a token of my appreciation for those who participate in this closed test, I would like to introduce and provide you with the learning apps I am developing.
I will introduce not only what I am currently working on, but also any new educational and learning apps I create in the future, as much as possible.
Also,
I would love to hear your ideas, such as:
"I'd like you to make an app like this," "I'd be happy if there were an app to learn this unit," or "It would be convenient to have this kind of teaching material in class."
Ideas like these are also very welcome.
I hope to incorporate the voices of what is actually needed in schools and homes into future app development.
Creating useful tools for the educational field, little by little
With the advancement of generative AI, it has become easier to turn ideas from the educational field into reality, even for app development that previously required specialized knowledge.
I myself am creating learning apps little by little, driven by thoughts such as:
"Couldn't children learn while having fun?"
"Couldn't we make teaching materials that they would want to practice with repeatedly?"
"Couldn't we support teachers' preparation of teaching materials, even if just a little?"
Although still a work in progress, I want to make them better teaching materials by listening to the voices of everyone who actually uses them.
Lastly
If you have an Android smartphone or Android tablet,
"I don't mind trying it out a little"
and are willing to help, we would greatly appreciate your cooperation.
Every individual's cooperation is a great help in getting our educational app published on Google Play.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who can help.
Thank you very much for your support.
