I feel like I'm taking the perfect hop and step toward the commemorative 100th milestone tomorrow (the theme is Tumbleweed's super-large-scale performance 'IMMORTAL'!).

For this commemorative 99th post, I'd like to introduce a masterpiece from SCRAP's acclaimed 'Youth Escape Series,' which recently saw its Tokyo revival run come to a bittersweet end.

Currently, the Nagoya run has started, and it has been decided that it will be held in Osaka starting in November.
This is just... so emotional!!! It was way too emotional!!!😭✨
🎬 The Dazzling Film Club. A story that lets you return to those days
First, let's start with the story, which will tug at your heartstrings just by reading this synopsis.

You are a third-year high school student in the film club.
In a small film club of only five members,
you have been working together to create a film to submit to the final cinema competition of your high school life.
The film production is reaching its climax.
Finally, all that remains is the filming of the last scene...
On that important day of filming,
the junior girl who played the lead role, 'Hazuki,' suddenly disappeared.
'Senpai, I'm sorry. I can't be here anymore...'
All traces of her vanished, as if she had never been there in the first place.
At this rate, not only can we not film, but we can't even submit to the competition.
Why did she disappear?
An unexpected truth awaited you at the end of your search.
Under the sky of a dazzling magic hour,
a blue and bittersweet story unfolds where you and your friends are the protagonists.

While solving the puzzles, my own 'student days from about 10 years ago,' when I was devoted to club activities, flashed back, and it was so dazzling that I almost started to cry😭😭😭
Even though we had such passionate feelings, why did Hazuki, the lead actress, suddenly disappear?
Where did she go?
And what will happen to the final scene of our film...?

🧠 Not just 'emotional'! A satisfying challenge as a puzzle game
'You keep saying the story is emotional, but what about the quality as a puzzle game?'
Some of you might be thinking that, butthis actually has some real bite to it!
This work is the second installment in a series called the'Youth Escape Series'directed by Saori Kida, who has brought many experiential masterpieces to the world.
Actually, the premiere was about 8 years ago, and it is a legendary masterpiece that has had a long-awaited revival this time, and I was deeply convinced of its high level of perfection, thinking, 'This is indeed a masterpiece...!👏'
Speaking of the same series recently, there are 'Searching for You in the Forgotten Snow' held in Shibuya, and 'The Blank Graduation Ceremony and the Last Lie' which caused a stir this spring.
These two works were also wonderful, but my impression is that 'Graduation Ceremony' was designed with much more emphasis on the 'experience' than the puzzles, and 'Forgotten Snow' had a relatively mild puzzle difficulty.
Compared to those, perhaps because 'BokuMaji' is a hall-type performance, I felt a quite solid challenge in the puzzles!
It is packed with the goodness of the usual 'Real Escape Game,' where you solve things while organizing various elements and foreshadowing in your head✨
That said, it is not like it is too difficult!
While having that tense feeling of a puzzle game, you can also fully immerse yourself in the story, which, in my opinion, is by far the best-balanced one in the series!🙌✨

Successful escapees are even presented with a lovely 'certificate of merit'!
This makes for a wonderful memory!✨
