Force Open the Narrow Gate!

　On a rainy night, a man visited a church.

　At the prayer meeting, the pastor was speaking.
"Enter through the narrow gate. The path that leads to life is narrow."
　The man was nodding deeply in the very back.

　When the prayer meeting ended, the man approached the pastor. His suit looked like it was about to burst from his massive, rugby-trained physique.
"Pastor, I want to become a pastor."
"……That’s sudden. Have you read the Bible?"
"I’ve never read it."
"How about prayer?"
"I’ve never done that either."
"And church?"
"Tonight is my first time. I have so much excess energy, and I want to use it for something right!"
　The man was completely serious.
　The pastor, overwhelmed by the sheer intensity, wiped sweat from his forehead.
"……Well, I understand your passion, but... It’s late, so let’s talk again tomorrow at eight."
　The pastor sent the man away as if to shoo him off.

　The next morning at seven, an hour before the appointment, the man was already in front of the church door. The church door was still locked.
"This is a test of my faith."
　Satisfied with his own reasoning, the man stuck his fingers into the gap of the door. Crack! He broke the lock and pried the door open just a few centimeters.
"W-w-what are you doing! If you had just rung the bell, I would have opened it for you..."
　Right in front of the stunned pastor, who looked like he might faint, the man began to wedge his massive body into that tiny gap, making creaking sounds.

"You’re the one who said to enter through the narrow gate, Pastor."
　The man said this while turning bright red, desperately trying to squeeze his way in.
