My father is a huge fan of the Kansai Ligers.

He retired last year, so he cheers for them in front of the TV every day. The Ligers are doing exceptionally well this year, so my father is in a very good mood.

In the 7th inning, he launches jet balloons inside the house, and when victory is secured, he sings the team anthem, "Rokko Oroshi." His singing is a bit off-key, but that's part of his charm. Both my mother and I lightly close our eyes (or ears?).

We are happy that my father is happy. But there is something I'm a little worried about. This year, the Rokko Oroshi has been blowing since spring. The winds are so strong that they are causing damage in various places. Could my father's singing be the cause?

Last night, he caught a cold, and he's been saying his throat hurts and he can't speak since this morning. It's just the start of a cold, so it's probably at a level that can be cured with over-the-counter medicine.

But if my father's throat heals, will the Rokko Oroshi keep blowing...?

Is there any medicine somewhere that can cure this abnormal north wind along with my father's cold?
